Sick and tired of having to call in asking for help and only gets greeted by an attitude by someone who uses the online system every single day and only has to know ONE on-line portal system. I kept telling the gentleman on the phone that i apologize for frustrating him but this was my FIRST time using their portal to pull permits. Please learn to be patient; individuals who have to file permits for companies have to learn over 20 + online portal systems in all cities and jurisdictions. Horrible service - please replace the individual that answers the e plan review line at the building dept and move him to a dept that does not require him to help customers over the phone.

If I could give o stars I would... horrible and rude customer service when calling... it's almost impossible to get a hold of anyone for a simple question and no one has answers... I had to call at least 10 to 15 times and I got hung up on 3 times. Ridiculous! so glad I don't live in Palm beach county. ughhhhh

As We Know going to a government facility to obtain permits it's like trying to get an act of Congress. However I am pleased to report at this facility that was not the case. As I stood back and watch the employees interact with the public I noticed that not one employee had a negative attitude. Each employee was professional courteous and helpful. When it came down to my issues I left there with the feeling that I received all of the available information that I need it. This is an example of government money spent well!

Yes you can for some trade permits. Example...a re roof permit can be expedited by the contractor, and only as long as the new roof will be the same roof type as the existing. Shingles, metal, etc must be replaced with the same.
What my setbacks in the average west Palm Beach fl. 33412 I have 2.14 acres
You can go in they have 15 minute walk in sessions. Or you can email but they take a 1 to 3 days to respond
There are a series of follow up questions to your posed question. This may fall under your current permit just as it may require a new permit depending on various attributes of your current permit. You're best to contact the Permit Help Desk to obtain the answer specific to you.
Allowed in Seagate Country club.
o yes you do need a permit
It depends on the age of your lot. You can contact the Building records Dept. in your municipality and see if they have an old survey of your lot or property. If you are planning to do new structural jobs you will need a survey 1 year or less.
A correct dry vent has a flap on it not a screen. A screen will clog.
Wrung answer. 2500.
Go to Plan review and sign in.
I think you can reactivate the permit and request a final inspection. You can call and ask, they will help you.
Looking for a permit that gives me the year when the roof on my house was replaced. Homeowners Insurance need a date.
Yes
Permits are always recommended. However you should call the building Department directly and ask before proceeding.
Walk in is the usual way to talk to a building official or plan reviewer about acceptable materials that meet current building codes
Because it is a commercial bldg, requires a licensed contractor.
You can download it from the he website or go to the office and ask for one
I believe as long as the contractor has signed and is notarized, to drop off is ok. To pick up they just need to bring the original copy of the receipt that has red stamp on it that states this document must be presented for permit pickup. If you don't hVe it then the contractor would have to pick up
You need to call them
At leaat two. You may want to call them to get details
As the owner of the property you dont need a license but will require and owner builder permit
Every municipality has there own rules. If you live in the city limits of Lake Worth then i would contact them. They may want removal in the event of expansion of the structure.
Restitution... I dont think it would be through this dept... Try the courts...
By the time you pay the 2 permit fees of 50 plus dollars each plus the fee for the certificate of commencement it comes to about $150. And then you'll have to call in for your inspection. Make sure you have 2 certified copies of A current survey and all your property information.
No permit need for Repair
Ummm... I doubt it because it will be difficult take it ADA compliant
Not in P alm Beach county.. Broward & Miami-Dade yes.
Any exterior door should open outward, as to resist the winds from a hurricane. A door that opens inward can be blown open very easily. Also inward opening doors are easy for thieves or police to kick down, as the deadbolt is the only attachment point on the weak side.
I am not entirely sure of the question. Do you get a reply to what.
It was helpful to get the survey of a 30 years old house located in Greenacres-Loxahatchee 33470
