Consumer Affairs ONLY acts as an arbitrator to get the consumer to pay for what is in dispute. Evidence is not important. They do not make sure the offending company followed statutes. There is no penalty to the company. No enforcement so that future consumers are protected. Consumer Affairs is not responsive to questions, by email or phone, and only sent form letters

We had to wait almost an hour to get an ID issued, although we were the ONLY ones there. Staff were all huddled around talking, instead of offering assistance.

What can I do if I was fooled by dealership with respect to payments in the purchase of a new car is not agreed with the seller thanks

At the end of the day when a seller agrees with you, you have to verify if the seller wrote the price agreed in the contract. If you sign a contract with the price that is not agreed upon, it is still your responsibility to continue paying the payment that was agreed upon. Now if the payment increased a bit than agreed, it may be that there were things added after the price such as insurance, benefits, change of ascites, tires, etc. Look at the contract and verify the agreement numbers in writing.
