Ok, I'm going to ask this. Have you ever stayed in a Lodge? I have, it was spacious, beautiful, big fireplace, nice sized bedrooms. Well here at Lake Limestone, I rented their Lodge because my Daughter and Son-in-law where coming down from Iowa. I get there and check in, ask for directions to said Lodge, People....... It's a FREAKING SINGLE WIDE TRAILER HOUSE. I told the check in lady that if I knew that it was a trailer, for the money I paid for a LODGE, I wouldn't have rented it. There where ants coming out of the drains, on every bed. Oh don't get me started on the beds. My Daughter woke up multiple times with ants on her face, needless to say they left the next morning. The beds were horrific, pee stains among other stains on them. They were box springs, not mattress. We went to Mexia to get pizza came back to the trailer smelling like sewer. I couldn't go into the trailer for hours. As you can see I was not a Happy Camper.

Great weekend at the lake. Fish fry on the porch was an added bonus. Even with severe Thunderstorms we still had a great time.

Very disappointed with this place. We got there to check in and found that our cabin was infested with bed bugs. The so called "manager" aka "cricket" (who was visually impaired) said she would bring us keys to different cabin. 30 mins later I found her sitting in the shop, conversing with customers as they ate their dinner, and she was enjoying an ice cream. I had to get my keys myself. The next cabin thank God did not have bed bugs. Although it was filled with all sorts of other dead bugs. The room had a very strong mildew odor and the wall was rotted out around the door. Later that evening other family members found their cabins to be infested with bed bugs as well. They ended up sleeping in their vehicle with two small children, and had to wait for "cricket" to show up at noon the next day. She was an hour late. While they tried to be accommodated they were told to wait because she was on the phone. We watched her sit on the side of the building on her phone call for an additional hour. The rest of the staff was very helpful as to which she was not. The bathrooms were filthy. The floors soaked with urine and fecal matter smeared across the wall. I've seen better accommodations on prison shows. Me and my family will 100% not be coming back. The 30 min drive out down a pothole filled backwater road was the best part of my trip. We checked out early and could never been happier to leave somewhere in the dust.

Great burgers cooked right on the grill. Nice clean marina. New management really making a difference.

The bath house is just like any other camping site, there is plastic mats on the floors which was great. I didn't notice anything bad or dirty about them, you are camping. You have to expect normal camp things, like small bugs that are around the lights, but you turn off the lights when you leave shower house.
Very little if any
Don't know, we have never stayed there, only gone for the day.
I believe so. New owners so you'd have to check with the grounds but there are some RV trailers that look like they have extended stay.
Day pass for fishing & swimming is $5/person. $6 for boat launches. No ccw
Yes you can bring a tent and sleep there overnight I do not believe that they can't sets cost much but I would call to make sure
Only wifi at the store/restaurant. There is a lot of seating area both inside and outside if need wifi. Ask staff for password
On the south side of the lake is a dam. That is s good fishing place.
There is a covered pier. I've seen some nice fish pulled in.
