Very relaxing. Near enough to town but far enough away from the main roads. Cozy cabins at decent prices. We will be back next year.

I loved it, I normally just swim but this time, me and my family spent the night in one of their awesome cabins, no high dive now , but it was great anyone who wants to chill out for the day , weekend, week or month this is the place

Love this place! It's like stepping back in time. All the old buildings are so amazing. Some of them are even fixed up enough to rent out. There's a pond that's more of a swimming hole really. It's got a big huge slide and diving board. There's gorgeous picturesque little bridges over the little creeks littered throughout the park's beautiful trees. I loved walking barefoot through the sand streets. The whole experience was very relaxing. I'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.

We were here for a bluegrass festival a few years ago. We enjoyed the bands that we heard. Since we live in Minnesota we don't get down to Texas much, but it was great to be able to hear so many "new" bands (for us). I loved the look of this park of an old fashioned western town. Very cute. We had a friendly experience here. Hope to some day make it back.

I have a question do you all do any type of testing on the water in the summer months to make sure the water is safe for people to swim.
Yes, bring your own or rent one there. It's a large outdoor area.
Yes, pets are aloud. But you need the keep them on a leash and clean up after them
Hi Robin. Great Question! We offer a catch and release option at our Frog Pond located next to the train track and the tree house. Rogue fish hook incidents are frowned upon by most of our swimming guests, so we keep the big lake for swimming only. :) Thanks for asking!!
They do not have Wifi ! We have been there quite a few times but we deally didn't miss it, it were having such a great time 😁😁

Definitely take the grandkids there. So many trails to take and adventures. There are at least 2 treehouse structures they would enjoy.
