My kids and I had a great time when i went there, I arrived late and there were no spaces available but the camp host went out and asked a family if we could share a parking space as we were going to stay in the van and just wanted a place to spend the night. They agreed and long story short we ended up staying a whole week. My kids enjoyed and loved to stay there. I am so thankful and really appreciate the way the HOST treated us.

Great little campground. Easy to get to from Silverthorne CO. Some sites on the Blue River. Host on site w/ firewood.(Picture- White Van in site #17).

Beautiful spot, not a full-featured campground though. Excellent spot to relax by the river, not a ton of great fishing or other activities though

Lower campsites had great views and reasonable privacy. The upper sites, not so much. There is a fair amount of road noise from 6 am to about 10 pm but that is to be expected near a roadway. The river does a decent job of drowning that out though and it wasn't really a bother. If there were water available somewhere at the campground (not asking for showers or water hookup) we would have rated this a 5. We knew going in there was no water available so we were prepared for it. Bathrooms were very well kept up. Attached several views from our campsite.

Phone number to call? RV hookups?

Vickie Newell | Jun 6, 2019
Becky Weirauch | Jun 7, 2019

I worked there for a few months. There is no good number to call to reach the campground directly. There is no phone service at the campground. It's currently a first come first serve campground. RVs are welcome there, but might not fit in all sites. There are no hookups available. There is also no drinking water at the campsite.
