This is an insult to the community. Website advertised closing time is 5 PM. On a previous visit I was told that I could get A background check as long as I get there before 4 o'clock. At 3:50 the lady at the window said that they close at 3:45 "I'm not here" Horrible costumers service, they are annoyed just to see you come in.

There is a lady that is very rude and should not be working in the field of helping. They need to put Jamaican lady in the back to file paper work cause she is not a great interactor. Also appointments are unavailable for simple services like background checks

Members of our homeowners’ association have phoned the Intercoastal Police Stations dispatch on many occasions to report everything from screams in the middle of the night, to illegally parked commercial vehicles during non code enforcement hours. Those who answer the phone here are always courteous and send out patrol officers to address the concern immediately. If allowed, 18-wheelers will park along side roads in residential areas instead of paying to park at the truck stop. Last year, there were four along Countyline and NE 10th. Intercoastal comes along and shoos them away. If speeders hit the Ives school zones, officers will patrol the area more to deter this unsafe behavior. When youth last year started to break into cars, Intercoastal staked the area in unmarked cars, helped us set up the neighborhood Crime Watch and an officer attending every meeting. My only gripe is no officer would agree to give me shooting lessons, dang!!!! But seriously, I am so glad and proud to know that our neighborhood is protected by our country’s finest officers and I’m grateful for those who dispatch them as needed. Great job guys, keep up the good work. And if you see me run the four way on Countyline by Krop, play like you didn’t.

If I could put -5 stars I would do it with pleasure. Terrible service. I came at 1 pm to do a background check, the officer told me to wait till 2:30 pm because the one who was in charge of it, was on break. When I came back there was a different officer at the front, who told me they were closed already, I replied "how is it possible if the background check closes at 4", the officer told me that the same exact person in charge of it called off, I immediately left, they wasted my time and lied straight to my face. How could this police department do services with a small amount of irresponsible staff? and how can a police be a bunch liars? I don't recommend coming here.
