It was total waste of my time and gas to get there! I have been wanting to get down for over a year and check the place out based off frequent listings they post on a third party site. I finally made it there today and it was a total disappointment. Walked in the door and all of the merchandise is behind a wall of glass. Lady on the other side says she can show me what I need through the glass, people are not allowed in at this time. WHAT A JOKE! I don't know anybody that is going to buy a firearm with only being able to look at it through the glass. Does it feel good in your hand? You can't find out Pocket carry? Will it fit in your pocket? You can't find out Weight and balance? You can't find out Is the trigger mushy or crisp? You can't find out Is it used? If the answer to that is yes, just know that you cant run the slide, examine the barrel or inspect anything else to function check. Save yourself the time, almost any other option is better and worth paying a little bit more. Edit 3-6-22 I response to owners response "13th Street Jewelry & Loan is the third business opened by David Schroeder. David opened DSS Coin and Bullion, Inc. in 2001, which specializes in coins, gold, silver, platinum and estate buying." Taken from your own webpage. They are adjoining businesses under the same ownership idiot

Great customer service!! These guys are great and they pay very fair for your gold and silver depending on the spot price that day compared to others in Omaha. Definitely one of the best in Omaha Nebraska. Some of these lower reviews I have read about DSS on 13th street have to be a joke! One review I saw was "How can I buy a firearm when its behind glass and you can't handle it"! What are you talking about?! This is a coin and bullion store and apparently they got butt hurt and wrote a bogus review.

Prices are unreasonable. Coin are $6 higher than other coin dealers spot price in town plus the owner is one of the rudest people I've ever met. I went twice to see if he was just having a bad day the first time I met him but he was still condescending. I don't recommend this coin shop. There are others that treat their customers better and have fairer prices.

There are many better places to go to buy and sell coins. I would recommend APMEX, or any other local coin, pawn, shop.
I recently visited the 13th Street location. Staff was wearing mask. Service was upfront and efficient.
