Choosing quality education for your children can be a challenge! Placing my child at this School was such a blessing. It is a school that feels like a home away from home and thriving! The teachers are so loving, caring and attentive. You can tell the administration has so much experience in the field, as they are constantly guiding and supporting all the questions you bring to the table! We would recommend this school to any parent.

We LOVE Primrose of Cooper City. From the moment we toured the school we knew that this was the place for our family. We toured 3 schools, in the area, and nothing felt the same that primrose did. At that time the building was under construction and the school was not open yet. We met with Miss Anne (the owner) and felt her warmth, passion for learning and immediately knew when Primrose opened we would enroll our daughter. Covid hit and while we kept our child home for a year, we continuously kept in touch with Anne, and knew when we were ready to go back to school, Primrose was there waiting for us. The school is an education based program, not like your typical daycare. Everything they do, all day, has meaning and a reason behind it. My daughter started thriving the day she started. We have been in 3 class rooms (based upon her age at the time) and have nothing but amazing things to say about each and every teacher at the school. Every day when we drop my daughter off, both my husband and I feel so overwhelmed with joy, knowing that my daughter is in a safe educational environment surrounded by energetic, dedicated, patient and loving teachers and staff. Every time I have a question and I call or email I immediately get a personalized response from either Anne or Jonathan, which is such a nice feeling. I can say at this point, I almost feel as though they are family. Additionally, the school is spotless & pristine. The rooms are bright and open and the staff is always happy. We will be leaving Primrose in the fall to start kindergarten and we will be very sad to go. BUT I can say the learning and development that Primrose is giving my child, she will be more than prepared for the next stage of her learning career. We love Primrose and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home for their child.

We had a very negative experience at Primrose of Cooper City. The majority of the red flags stemmed from the teachers, admin and owner not being trustworthy - a lot happens behind the curtain there- and not communicating with us at all about what was ‘going on’ in the classroom for the first 10 days my child was enrolled. As far as I knew, and from what I could tell from the photos they sent on the parent app, all was great. We spent a total of 20 days there. Then, after 10 days, things changed ABRUPTLY after the enrollment admin gave away a spot in the younger class that she’s promised to my younger child after a nearby school closed and they had desperate parents at their door trying to enroll. I expressed my dissatisfaction and then half an hour later the same admin called to tell me I needed to come in the next day to discuss whether or not Primrose of Cooper City was the right place for my older child. The meeting with the owner, director and teacher was very negative. They were super eager to assign blame for every problem in the classroom on a 5 year old versus admitting there may be something wrong with the way the classroom is managed. They prepared a list of bad things my child had done from an observation the owner admitted she did earlier in the morning. These complaints consisted of not sitting down during circle time, being upset at two children that had been BULLYING mine for two weeks and not silently raising his hand. They said he was ‘hyper’ and wouldn’t sleep during the 2 hour rest period and was always trying to read books. (They don’t allow the children to read or even bring in a book from home during nap time and they are expected to be quiet for 2 hours at ages 4 and 5) It was clear that the owner and her staff do not have a full grasp of the challenges our little ones face coming out of the pandemic. In fact, she told me ‘how long are we going to blame the pandemic?’ As a response during a separate conversation we were having where I was trying to explain that he has had very little practice being with groups of kids. The owner then gave me an ultimatum, either go to my pediatrician and have scheduled to be ‘evaluated’ read- he has some pathological problem that needs fixing because we are not the problem at all - by the end of the week or else. My pediatrician laughed. We spent the next ten days being systematically pushed out of the school. Everyday I came in, the owner would complain to me about what a ‘problem’ he was and the teachers would complain at pickup. They even went as far as to say negative things about him, IN FRONT OF MY CHILD, which deeply affected his attitudes towards school. Often, the challenges that the teacher described conflicted with what the owner would describe. It was a gross over-reaction to a child adjusting to school and instead of being met with compassion and understanding, (or even the desire to understand )and involving me from the onset, the owner made him a villain and targeted him unfairly in favor of the other students in the class (especially one of the two girls that were bullying my son) who I believe she favored and was related to. I felt like she was just trying to say whatever she had to for us to leave. In the end, we are happy we left and my son is doing super well in a school just 2 miles away. We would not recommend Primrose of Cooper City to any family with a child who’s an accelerated learner, may be behind, has not been in school before. Plus, it’s extremely overpriced for such rigid system. And, as a side note, we had the resources to have our son evaluated out of pocket. The 5K remedy to what the school claimed about our child? More play dates and A school with educated, flexible teachers with good parent communication!
