Poor service. Employees just don't care anymore. High call volume will have you on hold for more than 40 minutes. There isn't anyone to tell. No where to turn. Brevard permit office. Tighten up!!

During the process of applying for my county competency card Denise Campagna has been amazing. She has been responsive, helpful, and professional at all times. She has really gone the extra mile to help me cut through all the red tape and keep the ball rolling on obtaining my Electrical Contractor's license. I would give her 10 stars if I could.

I'm not really sure how to reach Tom who is on the message every time I call to at permit records dept. I hope he really does exist? I'm sure he's busy like the majority of people needing help from him. It's very frustrating when your told to leave your information and no one bothers to get back. Merry Christmas

These people are very inconsiderate. If there is an inspection to be done, they won't even provide a simple courtesy call to let you know they are on the way. They expect you to take off work an entire day. Well..in my case, I took off the entire day and the inspector went to the incorrect address. So they came the next day and luckily my son was home to greet them. I can't believe we pay county people to do this.

A homeowner can pull a homeowners permit. Usually cost effective pulling your own permit versus someone charging for there time to go pull it. But in the long run if you're hiring someone to do the job it be better If they pulled it because if it's not done right in any way they'll have to fix it before final inspection is passed.
