I am so grateful, seniors helping seniors is so compassionate and caring. They take the time to know and understand the people they help. It’s not one size fits all. My parents were very resistant about having any kind of help at first. But with patience and understand they found a way. This morning my Mom said “ those people at seniors helping seniors are so nice. They drop in to check on Me and Dad. It’s like having a friend that cares. I don’t feel so alone”. This organization is amazing. My mother does not need medical help, but she does need some personal help and companionship. We picked the days and hours we wanted someone to come. They matched her up with a wonderful woman named Marty! My mother and Marty get along very well and have a lot of fun together. They will also take you to the grocery store, doctor’s appointments, errands and even fun things. I feel very comfortable with this organization as they monitor the people they hire and are very friendly and easy to communicate with. I recommend them to anyone that would like some companionship or for their loved one to become less lonely and mobile without having them drive. We were very lucky to find them.

I want to take this opportunity to praise Seniors Helping Seniors and the wonderful service they provide to our community. What a difference having a SHS companion has made. My life has been made easier with much less worry. My caregiver has been very kind, professional, prompt, understanding, and dependable. SHS is a professional organization that has been supportive and responsive to all my needs. A joy to work with and I am glad that I made that initial call. It has become time for me to move into an assisted living situation and I hate to leave SHS, but I will be moving to Sarasota to be near my daughter.
