Went in for a FREE inspection of our brakes, or so I thought. We were given a report stating what was wrong with the vehicle and needed updating. Not only did he say we needed new tires, which we just got from them 3 months prior but, we were upsold so terribly we just walked out and told them we wanted the vehicle back. Once I informed the staff member he went into the bay threw his hands up and complained to his tech who was actually really nice and kind. Customer experiences like this cost this company money. We won't be back! I'll say his name since everyone else is! BOB!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!

Beware I did research for a battery replacement for a 2011 kia soul. This store on William Penn Highway in Monroeville is full of shysters! The quote on the internet said 164.95 including install. This clown said $263 w/ install and it would take about 1 hours. So go literally across the street to Autozone and get the battery installed for $185 In less than 15 minutes! Watch out for the shyster at the Pepboys on William Penn Highway in Monroeville PA! Huge Thumps up to Autozone across the Street!

Bob says that he doesn’t have time to explain why changing brakes and tires takes 8.7 hours at a price of 146 per hour because he is an hourly employee. Nick on the other hand sounded like he was in a relationship with Bob on the down low. Thank you for the tow guys. By the way, If anything is wrong with my car please be on time dressing to impress at the magistrate. Nick make sure to bring your boyfriend with you.

I brought my car in for 4 new tires and an alignment and was very happy. I couldn't believe how clean this store was compared to other places I have been. I spoke with a gentleman named Bob on the phone and Nick when I was in store and they were so friendly. They explained all my options without getting frustrated at me since I am not exactly car savvy. Overall, 5 stars and I will be back.

Yes, it’s a Pep Boys Tire and Service Center with mechanics for your car but you can’t just buy parts or products for self-service here.
It’s not closing. It is open for an oil change, repairs and for new tires but you can’t buy parts or products directly for self-service.
Masks required, social distancing and common sense
They do basic diagnostics but will usually give you the wrong information
That's different, when I used to work for them, they had a dedicated Tech to just install radios and sound systems. I guess things change.
