Wilmington Treatment center is a Good place for Detox, however the PHP division is poorly run. While at the Detox division I was informed that I would receive counseling on a daily basis at the PHP division, which is why I was so eager to go. When I arrived a friend that I had met at the Detox division informed me that she had not seen a counselor and she had been there already 2 days. There were at least 250+ patients with only 8 yes 8 counselors. I began to ask myself how was I going to receive the counseling I wanted and needed to help with my sobriety. Also the facility was asking it's patients to Volunteer or place a "V" when signing into each class they attended, meaning they would be working in the mess hall for snacks or treats. This is Unexceptable! This place is only for the insurance money with zero care for the patients. I Felt VERY intimidated by the staff at times because they are so rude and controlling. The dorms which are segregated open at 4:30 prompt. So on the first day I arrived we started to line up on the sidewalk to go in and one of the staff came running out screaming that we could not be there that we had to go back across the street and stand until 4:30. I pay insurance to be treated like this NO! I DO NOT recommend the PHP portion of this treatment center. It's just a meat market wanting insurance money. I have informed my insurance company.

This facility is a baby step away from feeling and being treated like you're in prison. Know matter how long you sign up for they try to keep you until your insurance or money runs out. Their counselors are a joke. They h erd u around like sheep and cattle .FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU REALLY WANT HELP TO SUCCEED!!!

It's funny you only comment on good reviews? Don't that show you could care less about the concerns of real patients? Thier families? I mean these patients are battling mental health issues and they are treated poorly and fed poorly? They stuck on meds and no mental help? Kicked out in paper scrubs in the middle of the night? Believe me this won't continue to go un noticed!! Researching as I type.. #therightearswillhear..#therightpeoplewillknow...#congressarewstching!!

I was there back in January thru March this year I will say this wilmington treatment center didn't find me and beg me to come there I found them and im very grateful they gave me a chance to get my mind spirit and body back to normality the teachings I was able to process the staff I think were very good to me especially my counselor Ms tiff Clarke that was willing to take me in a second time around and I really am trying to reach her but no one answers the phone there for me to thank her for having me do the step work sheets her patience and excellent intelligence of understanding how I need to cohesively address the underlying issues of the disease of alcohol that nearly destroyed my life I truly thank her for her diligence and precise intuition as to motivating me to be the human being I was before I knew the disease of alcohol I thank God in the name of Jesus christ for her and the many others here and of course Dr G. I now am going on 6months clean and sober have a stronger mindset better relationship with those around me and mybphysical health has greatly improved lost close to 40 pounds thank you to all the staff at the wilmington treatment center for giving me the fortitude to take my life back to restoration.

They will do detox. So.etimes it takes longer to detox safely. I wouldn't go there. Its a unmanaged place with doctors and staff that dont care. They treated my case the wrong way and its left me permanently damaged.
