I gave them a very large order to transfer 8 mm and Super 8 mm home movies to digital onto USB flash drives. I also gave a generous tip in advance of the project. Let me say first that OVER ALL, I was very impressed with the staff and their professionalism. Also, OVER ALL, the transfers went okay. The reason I can't give a 5-star review is: on MANY transfers, the images are wobbly/wavy (i.e. the images are unstable), which is very distracting. This was not an issue of the reels themselves, as I had watched the reels before. Also, on several reel transfers the colors in many scenes are all shades of blue, also not an issue with the reels. I had close to 100 reels done, and they did a pretty good job as far as the chronological sequence - but there were a few reels that were very obviously out of order. Also, in many of the sequences, the bottom 5% of the image is chopped and appears at the top of the screen - again, very distracting. BOTTOM LINE: It beats watching the reels with a projector, about 80% of the transfers are flawless - but 20% aren't. Great people, but if you are considering 8 mm/Super 8 mm transfers, I would maybe keep these things in mind.

Great job in processing a whole box of slides that were from the 1960's. I had some family history in that box but couldn't see the slides. Glad i found Digitizing Memories

I had 11 vhs tapes and 1 8mm dating from 1979 of my wedding and my kids growing up and had them put on flash drives for each of my grown children for Christmas. I took them in Oct to make sure I had plenty of time and surprisingly they were finished in 2 weeks! Eric was very helpful in choosing which format I should use and communicated with me via email. The tapes are organizied on the flash drive so I can go to a specific one. The 8 mm of my wedding was accidentally filmed in fast speed at the time, they were able to adjust it to normal speed. I am very happy with the finished product and will definitely be using them again!
