I initially joined State Farm through Dave Ramsey's Smart Vester Pro program. I was matched with an agent from LA and was very pleased with the rates I was quoted. Unfortunately, my agent and his team were not very responsive when I would reach out. I asked to upgrade to collision auto insurance, was quoted a new monthly, and was told not to worry when my bill still reflected the old package price. I had an accident and had to come out of pocket several thousand dollars which really impacted my financial stability and ate up my emergency fund. I contacted my agent at the time to express my frustration and the impact that his non action created. He assured me that he would ensure that the policy would be upgraded.
