Unprofessional staff. I had to go into this joke of an office when they failed numerous times to mail me the correct paperwork. Let I remind you my accident happened in January 2022 I filed in February it is now end of May and I still haven’t received my benefits. I finally decided to go back up to the office to figure out what was going on with my claim. I had been informed by a SDI worker my doctors medical form had been lost, I was also supposed to be contacted by this worker to give me a update on what happened I haven’t received that phone call either. This is sad. Hire a educated staff this is unacceptable!

This office stops helping people at 4:15 pm way before the the office is closed. Don't bother driving to this location after 4 pm. You only waste your time and gas. The office hours are from 8am - 5 pm they will turn people away even though you arrive before 5 pm. Our taxes pay for this building to stay open and help the public the manager does NOT CARE if you have not been able to get your money to pay your bills. They are only concerned is to have their doors closed by 5pm so they could go home early...

Its a small office but the employees are nice and explain properly the only disadvantage is that they dont answer phone calls and if they are not able to answer your question they tell you to call. Wait time is long because there is only 3 windows open.

Ok guys, their phone line is a joke! I give them one star for that, but if you need to get paid or get clarity on your case, make the trip to the office. They are open m-f from 8-5pm. I went in on a Tuesday and got in line at 9am and didn’t get to talk to a rep until after 3.5hrs, hence only 1-2 windows were open so that delayed the process. Unfortunately I had to make a second trip to the SDI office due to a mistake I made on a form, and for that trip Friday (4/16) I got in line at 1pm (short line) and after 2hrs I was out and issue was resolved. Moral of the story, go in person and take any docs you think they could ask/need and if they need it they will stamp it and add it to your account. Once you get inside the building (post-standing in line) you get a number and you fill out a small form, both times I spent 30mn inside before having my number called! Note: if you don’t make it inside by 3pm most likely you’ll not get seen on that day. Make the trip and plan to spend a min of 2-4hrs in line and maybe you’ll be lucky and not need to spend that amount of time.

No numbers work they all hang up on you
Negligence is putting it kindly.
No. It's just for disability only. I think your looking is at 1901 zanker Rd San Jose CA. That's unemployement office..
No the office is closed. The only one there is the security guard handing out the disability forms.
You actually don't submit the form online, you only get to download a copy, fill it with your information, and then bring it to your doctor. Also, some doctors charge a fee for filling out their part of the form.
trick question. you can show up in person, but be prepared to stand in line for 4 hours and possibly turned away. I suggest you go early.
Same with me. Just make sure you have reapplied for the extension. As well as gone through the photo i.d process that they asked for.
With loading Vpower,Orion Stars or Fire Kirin?
No problem here yah go
I've been trying to communicate with EDD for more than four months now. Haven't received one penny since I was laid off in October 2020. No response to online messages even though promised within 5-7 days. Have never been able to reach anyone by phone even though the recording says they've ramped up to handle more calls, only to be told at the end of the phone tree to call back later due to number of calls. What a joke.
Are close
1901 Zanker Rd San Jose but not sure if the office is open. 297 West Hedding San Jose
You can get it online thru EDD website then print it
YES. It is state law. If you fire someone they get the check before they are out the door. If not you could owe them 3X: what you owe them for wages PLUS 2X for penalties
You can apply anytime
Who's this
Edd should have sent you paper work, for your doctor.
Yes, exactly what she said above.
Yes
Iva Chefy is right. Your doctor needs to move into the modern age. If he won't, ask SDI to call or write to him. If they won't, talk to your state assembly member or state senator. They know how to get things done.
