Are you looking for a fish focus charter boat to try? This might be the one! In my experence with other charter fishing boats they stayed close to shore and caught smaller fish off the reef. This one goes out deep and for THE BIG ONES! I have heard that the ride out to the farallons Islands is a bit bumpy, and found this to be true. This is the part of trip where if you need to come prepared to bust out the motion sickness remedy of choice. For you newbies without sea legs. My advice is to test them out ahead of time. Keep in mind this is fish focused charter that is focused on delievering results. They run a clean ship that is prompt, prepared and professional. I would happly go again with this crew again. Al, Kyle and Johnny did a great job! The boat was not to packed, and had plenty of space.

Way to go saving those people on the sinking boat. Felt compelled to give you a review, who cares about the fishing, it's all about having a captain that knows what to do in a situation like this. Bravo capitan!!!

Captain AL is one of the hardest working Captains that pursues the trophy fish of your lifetime!

Summary, A three is above average, captain and crew are knowledgeable and polite, if you fish on this boat do not set up in the stern - starboard side of the boat. Rating: This rating posted today as a measure for a salmon trip. The captain and deck hand Kyle were knowledgeable of the area, tackle and bait. The areas fished were also visited by many other boats. In each area it seemed like Captain Allen navigated figure eight courses, which means he made only left (to port side) turns. I am not a sailor but this how it appeared for the whole day. What this means is anyone fishing in the back right hand side (starboard) side of the boat was in a less than favorable fishing position. The line was either in the middle of prop wash or being presented as the last bait on the starboard side. When I requested if I could move to either a bow or port side position I was politely told there was not any room for movement. One last point is the assigned line to be let out can be misleading to the true depth of the bait. Roughly computed, factoring boat speed and tide strength 60 feet of line equals about 18 feet of depth.
