We recently re-roofed our house by Armstrong and I have to say it's a disappointment. The salesperson, Jorge De Quesada, came and gave us a quote and then "kindly" offered a discount of $500 but asked us to undertake the permit fee. He said, "it's going to be around $200." No, it wasn't. It cost $1,099.19 by the invoice. So basically I'm paying more for the service, not even to mention being lied to my face. Also, in the beginning, Jorge said the estimated start date was the final week of October. However, in reality, they started work on November 15th. And that's a "favor" to us since someone before us canceled the service. Otherwise, it would be early December. During the waiting, I called them multiple times to check on the progress, but none of them would be anything near helpful. They're pretty good at giving you different phone numbers with nobody to answer. Well, to be honest, the job looks not bad. But I could only beg it not to leak since I don't have any hope about the effectiveness of their customer service at all. -- Updates: The CEO of the company called to apologize and resolve all the issues. He promised on the work quality and agree to make improvements on the customer service. I must say he's very sincere from the phone and I do feel the gesture. Adjust the review to 4 stars since the work quality is pretty solid.

Good technicians that know their stuff. They are pretty expensive but offer an excellent warranty.

Hi, thank you for your interest in our foam roofing installations. The price for foam roofing is very competitive compared to the cost of traditional built-up roofing material. However, foam roofing can offer you better insulation value so within a 4.5 year period, you can pay for the cost of your SPF roofing installation. Is the spray foam roofing used in the San Francisco Bay Area durable?

Pantelis Charalambous | Dec 14, 2021
Armstrong Foam Roofing | Dec 14, 2021

Yes, spray foam roofing is durable enough to sustain up to 50 pounds per square inch (PSI) which is strong enough to support the weight of any person. Naturally, it is not a good idea to walk on it with high-heels but even if it is punctured it can be easily repaired. To give you an idea of how durable it is, in 2006, the National Institute of Standards and Technology presented findings of a study that indicated that the damage incurred by foam roofing systems was little to no damage during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005. However, BUR roofing systems with three-tab shingles sustained damage to as much as 50% or more of the roof area. For more information contact us at https://www.armstrong1234.com/contact/
