Been here 4 times in the past 2 weeks and every single security guard is worst. All they do is talk to each other and gossip about the clients. Feels like I’m in high school all over again. I have a toddler and today I went in and I was struggling to open the door holding her and the stroller and they just sat there and looked and continued gossiping about another client.

Have to wait in line outside untill enough people come out (even if you have an appointment). So its suggested to go as early as possible to beat the heat. Also bring your own hand sanitizer because there aren't any dispensers for the public located inside but they do provide you with a mask upon entering (if needed). The only upside is the building isn't PACKED with people like pre-COVID days, and so parents are actually able to control their anxious/fussing kids instead of letting them scream and run wild in fear of losing their place in line.

Got to say about this bunch. Can't say it all for personal reasons, but lets say that when I was taken back in 2013 from my father, I was 9 at the time. Since then, I went through (I believe) 6 Social Workers. Went through a lot of emotional abuse, but now I'm gone and feel better. All I gotta say: Screw you California.

Very Kind people working behind the counters. Don't be rude and don't rush them. You'll be helped and it will get you further not acting out of pocket. Last few visits I was in and out in under 20 minutes and I was applying for medi-cal and Snap/EBT benefits and was able to talk to my Case Worker all in that time. It was about 10:30 AM

is the main office oh IHSS at Washington st in Stockton open today and what time ?
You are better off scanning them and kiosk instead of leaving in drop box
Ask at 333 E Washington St at the Medi-Cal Office window (about #12).
Your only remedy would be to explain the situation to her supervisor and let her real with it according to their protocol.
Housing authority of SJC might give u better results.
They cam give you a packet to direct you on the right direction
Yes. The correct location is BenefitsCal.com create a login and literally do everything online
Depends on the situation. Should be someone there to cover if you walk in
Just keep to your own issues
You need to get there early so they can schedual your apointment in the afternoon
Go down to the san joaquin county human services and ask for an application. Tell them your situation so that they can further help you.
333 E. WASHINGTON ST. STOCKTON
I signed my sworn statement on my California Lottery winnings and still waiting to hear back on my winnings.
You can now check the status of your case on BenefitsCal.com
They help once in a long time for you to get a place. A few years back they helped me get a place. They paid one month rent and deposit for me. I was so thankful. You still have to find a place on your own
No. You have to speak with your worker AND be eligible to CalWorks Cash Assistance program
Call your caseworker she will let you know that info
Yes you need to go there and get paperwork started. I would call them and ask them question because last time I went there was a long line outside that was beginning of this month. Sometimes you can do online website. Good luck
No.everything you have now can easily be transferred by submitting a change of address.
Yes and medical card or WIC or EBT
A passport to service is a print out of all the benefits from the last year that you can only receive from the welfare office. It looks like a spreadsheet. But they currently aren't just printing them out, the only way to receive right now is to make an appointment with your worker
At the human services agency on Washington st.
My work told me that only mail from the county ie: mail from HSA will go there anything else will be sent bak to sender. Now if they consider DMV county mail idk.
Sorry im not sure most likely no
Jenny Gonzalez idk what you are trying to say but if your asking what to expect when you get there first of all you cant just go wait in line and not know what you are there for and it depends on what type of gov benefits are you trying to get and in order for anybody to be helped by a county employee there you gotta go to either the first kiosk machine or the 2nd one which is all way pass the red ropes it sits in right hand side area d
No. Section 8 is thru the Housing Authority of San Joaquin
It is better to have an appointment, otherwise, you could sit around waiting all day. If you don't have a case started yet, you don't need an appointment to start one.
Call and talk to the worker of the day. They can put you in touch with your workers supervisor. These people have extremely high case loads, so go to the people in charge.
Yes your worker can help you with that. Not sure about the same day, but call your worker.
It's Medi-cal with a little different eligibility rules. If you do not qualify for Magi Medi-cal you can ask to be evaluated for that. And yes you can apply at the regular welfare or SNAP office.
Try 102 S. San Joaquin St. They do possibly Representation for Criminal Legal matters. Ask to speak to someone about the matter.
Sure Is just bring your I'd and any birth certificates if filling for kids also bring any paystubs or other sources of income or property you may own
If yoi have a card call the number on the back& then press 1 for english then type in the number on the front of the card
You would have to call your case worker and request for your card or contact the office and they'll know to transfer you to the right dept
Talk to your worker if you have one .if not ,fill out an application and leave it in the mail box .they will call you right away .
If you already applied for cash aid and this time you only get the cash then my reply is NO but you thus will be your 1st time visit and trying to apply or fill the application then I must tell you bring your kids, but you can do one thing if its had to bring kids simply get an application from there and fill it at home send back to county, they will call you with kids
Yes they do help you with emergency situations
If you have a felony drug charge your cute off food stamps
If you have a caseworker they sure have one
Try to call ur worker
Yes i believe wheb they close at 5pm they loxk the doors so id say 4:59pm is the deadline to drop in drop box
Ask your worker
Do they close those section woth the rest of the building or does this close at a different t time
Talk to ur wirkwe thwy usually can get a slip for u that makes u exempt for paying then u just take it to dmv an records department in court house
You can download it and print it out and mail it to them or fax it
You get to keep the balance. My mom is a worker trust me
Go in an request to see ur worker an change it with her in person
Just go to the department and they will have you in and out
Not open govt & national holidays. Basically if the banks are closed, their more than likely closed too.
