It's a great trail to hike with your dogs. Very peaceful and quiet. Benches along the way to just sit and marvel the spectacular view along the lake.

Beautiful little stop on the way back from crater lake! Let the dog and kids run! Would have been an awesome spot for biking as well. Path runs along the marshland and little river further up the way. Is paved and gravel. Easy access, pull up get out and the path is right there! We spotted ducks, bald eagles, Canada geese and some other poultry in November! Easy walking for the whole family-no steep jaunts or anything crazy. See pics!
