I believe it is listed as a no camping area. Im quire certain i have seen signs for no camping but I can't recall for sure. There is good tent camping at Kimball State Park about 10 miles to the north. There is also the Agency Lake Resort about a half mile to the south that is probably reasonable for a tent site.
