It had some broken glass on the beach but after picking it up, my sister and I were able to enjoy a beautiful view after a really long and messed up day. Definitely worth going again though.

We stayed in Sacramento group camp #3. It was very very very windy. The early morning wind is so strong it flattens your tent in half. And during a summer day there is a non stop hot dirty wind in your face. The swimming beach was great. The showers are a nice luxury and again, the isolated swimming and fishing slough was really refreshing and lush with wildlife. The lack of shade and the hot wind was difficult.

We spent a weekend camping at Brannan and enjoyed it. We were lucky to get a campsite (#38) with a big tree we could set-up under which shaded our tent and blocked some of the wind. Yes, be ready for lots of wind. Also campsites on the water/slough have water access which was really nice.

Is there a direct number to call about rv sites that are open
Yes. The park is contracted out to American Land and Leisure Services, who's contract ends on the first of April. The park will possibly re-open in August under a new vendor. But in the meantime it will be closed to all traffic, vehicles, boats, bikes and even people on foot will be fined if seen in park after the 1rst of April. It's an unfortunate inconvenience for many. Especially those who have had reservations and the boaters thar depend on the docks for daily use. Hopefully though, during this time of closure, there will be funding that will include the staff and materials for some of the many needed upgrades that are overdue. Including re-opening the bait shop located by the parks enterance.
ATT, VERIZON, SPRINT, OBUMMER Phones and other networks should work as well, however due to high gusts of winds networks may slow down a bit. However I have never had a problem with ATT.
Overnight camping is open, swimming was open despite signage saying it was closed. The showers are closed, as well as there is no soap in the bathrooms. This was 3 days ago.
I believe you can. We saw plenty of boats in the water and we saw people on bathing suits. My party didn't go only because it was over 100 degrees and we were so lazy to leave the campsite and sit in the shade, 😆. We wouldn't have had any shade if we ventured off to the water.
I was there yesterday with the park mostly empty and they said you must reserve 24 hours in advance on reservecalifornia. No walk up camping at this park.
