This is an amazing pub. Clean and refreshed. New floors all hardwood. New fresh paint and clean. The environment is entertaining and helpful. Mary and Tammy lead the nights. Two earth angels. This place saved my life,literally. They are more than bartenders they are so much more!

We ended up leaving without ordering anything. We had trouble getting inside because of a group of what we thought were customers outside smoking. After getting inside we waited at the bar and then a table for 15 minutes without seeing an employee while overserved customers literally broke the pool table and hurt their foot. They finally came in from outside and the lady with a lizard was apparently the bartender who finally started making drinks without washing hands or putting down the lizard on her shoulder. No menu, no employees, no safety and no standards. We left.

Showed up for my birthday. My wife and I were ignored for 10 minutes while the bartender chatted at the poker machines. I was told I can only order one drink per hour by law, as I watched every local get a new drink every 3 to 5 minutes. The bartender was rude to us she lost out on 40 dollar tip or more no matter the tab. Highly disappointed the one place i chose to go for my birthday they were so rude

Great little dive bar! Theresa is a wonderful bartender and a pleasure to chat with! I live down by crater lake, so I was just looking to shoot some pool with my husband. Little did we know, we had just found our new favorite place when visiting Newport. Also, if you like Jerkey, be sure to ask the bartends about it! They sell a brand called 2 Broke Bartenders, and it's actually the bartenders here at Uptown! It was super good and totally worth the $10 a bag!
