The roof on our vacation home in New Hampshire was about 15 years old and was starting to lose shingles due to deterioration and weather and needed to be replaced. After seeing many homes in the area convert to metal roofs, I started researching this and decided that this was the way to go. As with all projects, I like to get multiple quotes from vendors. I made contact with the folks in Walpole for Interlock and soon after I was contacted by Mark. He came out to the site to review the project and provided multiple options and a professional quotation. We selected the shake style metal roof top replace the current asphalt shingles. Once the decision was made, and the contract signed, A small team of professionals took care of making sure the project was completed to our requirements. We had issues with squirrels getting in to the house through the ridge vent and had another contractor fix the issue on the old roof. I expressed this concern to Mark and he made sure that the new roof would provide the same protection. The new roof was installed on schedule over the winter in New Hampshire and looks beautiful. The crew was neat and orderly and left no mess behind. Mark was always available to answer questions regarding any aspect of the job. This made it easier for us as we live 4 hours away in Connecticut and to know that your concerns were being taken care of was a huge relief to us. I’m still amazed at how good the metal roof looks whenever I’m at the house and would recommend Interlock to anyone interested in a new metal roof.

I was very impressed with this company from beginning to end. Johnathan, the salesman was amazing, there was no pressure, and he was so courteous and knowledgeable. Jenn from Walpole was such a wonderful person to talk to. She had all the knowledge of the project and such a pleasure to work with. She called several times to make sure the project was going well, and it was going great. The installers were very professional and courteous. They left no mess behind; they answered all questions we had. Everyone loves my new roof as do I. I would recommend this roof and especially this company. Thank you all for all the great customer service and all the work done to repair and install my new roof. I love pulling in my driveway and seeing such a beautiful roof

I have held off sending this review in the hopes that after filling out Interlock's customer satisfaction survey someone would reach out to me to discuss/address my concerns with our roof installation. No one has contacted me. Interlock roofing is not the cheapest option for roofing. My wife & I decided to spend considerably more to have it placed because we care about our home and were impressed by the product. When we decided to pay extra for a premium product we expected good if not great customer service. That wasn't the case. There are a lot of adjectives I could use to describe our installation manager, Paul McLaughlin. Suffice it to say our experience attempting to work with him was horrible. We had issues with damage to our Hardie board siding during installation where it met the roof (I've attached images below). Multiple areas of the house siding were fractured. I understand that in the course of any project damages can and will occur. My issue was that when I called to discuss the siding and express my concerns, Paul was nonresponsive, dismissive of the issue, rude to my wife and refused to look at the property or even listen to our concerns. He accused me of not wanting to pay my bill even though we paid in cash & on time. Interestingly, he had no problem coming to the house unannounced when I wasn't home to take pictures of the roof using a drone for advertising purposes which gave me the impression he was more interested in advancing his own interests then listening & working with his customers to ensure they were satisfied. Ultimately the crew that was subcontracted to install the roof patched up the damages however Paul never came to the house to see what had happened and verify the repairs were done correctly. He didn't care and couldn't be bothered. For this reason and this reason alone I would not and have not recommended friends to work with the company. If customer service matters to you, especially considering the company offers a lifetime warranty which means if anything goes wrong you will have to work with this company again to resolve any issues, I would explore other metal roofing options.

We were having multiple issues with our asphalt roof on our home in Maine and needed to get it fixed. I was constantly nailing back falling shingles and we had multiple water leaks so we decided to get a whole new roof and we decided to go with a metal roof. Just as an FYI, our metal roof was just finished a few months ago so I cannot speak for the longevity of the roof but I will try to give you an idea of how good the process of getting this project done was with Interlock. Anyone who has had to deal with a major home project and contractors in their home understands what I mean, so here goes… We were looking into a few companies but after meeting with our sales rep Mark and his explanation of the interlock product and process, we decide to go with Interlock and what a great move that was for us! The process from getting an appointment for our sales rep to show the product, agree to the job, get a start date, secure financing and final completion could not have been easier. First off there is no “hard sell” pressure, just lots if information about metal roofs, Interlock’s system and the lifetime warranty. There are a lot of people making this happen and every one of them that we dealt with was pleasant, courteous and very helpful. Claudette started the process by sending information and a sales rep who would be calling on us. She was very responsive and we got that info back in no time and with an appointment to meet with Mark. Mark was our sales rep and he was extremely knowledgeable about the Interlock product, metal roofs in general and the process that would occur to get us from start to finish. Mark has a very friendly and outgoing personality and had an answer for every questions we asked of him. Mark was always readily available to us for any of our questions throughout the whole process and followed up after the roof was completed to make sure that everything was to our liking. Drew is the finance guy and he couldn’t have been any nicer or more efficient that he was with us. He made the whole process very simple and easy to do. He was also readily available to us at all times. Jennifer is the office person who coordinated the whole thing. She kept us informed every step of the way, from material delivery, to dumpster drop off and pick up, to when crews would arrive and everything in between. She was always very pleasant and helpful and again always available if needed for questions. The crews that we had working on our house were awesome. They were on time and worked their tails off from the minute they got to the site until it was to dark to see. They were so respectful of our home and the property and cleaned up every night before they went home. I cannot say enough about the work ethic and quality of work they performed. Working on a roof in Maine in February is no easy task but these guys and gals made it look easy. Thanks to the whole Interlock family for providing us with a fantastic looking along with very functional roof that is guaranteed for a lifetime! It is a tremendous sound when the snow comes thundering off the roof leaving no snow or ice buildup!! We would highly recommend Interlock to install your metal roof.

Hi Tom, in some cases, a metal roof can be installed over one layer of asphalt shingles. The structure will need to be inspected by our installation crew for any signs of defects. Homeowners can save thousands of dollars by eliminating the cost of tear-off and disposal.
All our products are solar compatible. Our installers can install solar brackets to house solar crystalline panels.
All Interlock Metal Roofing Systems are coated with the Alunar® Coating System embedded with Teflon™ Surface Protector. No, a metal roof will not make lightning more likely to strike, but it may make a lightning strike less dangerous if it occurs. A conductive metal roof gives lightning a low-resistance path to the earth.
Our customers keep telling us that their new Interlock Roof is no noisier than their previous asphalt shingle roof. Please visit our resource page regarding noise via https://www.interlockroofing.com/kb/are-metal-roofs-noisy/
