Nice campground offering lots creek side. Clean and very family friendly. Would be great if they invested in new fire rings that have a grate for cooking. Our ring was rusted through the bottom.

My wife and I just spent July 4th weekend celebrating our 1st Anniversary at Gettysburg Campground. Loved site 206 that backs up to Marsh Creek at very back of the campground. All of the sites along the creek have good amount of shade and large outdoor living areas. We enjoyed the mini golf, dog park, along with the many food/beverage vendors and live music on site. Had a lot of activities not only for large families but couples to enjoy as well. From the staff in the main office to the grounds crew workers keeping campground clean every employee was very kind making sure all of the guest were having a good time. Even on a busy holiday weekend with a lot of campers all of the neighbors were respectful to everyone while having a good time. My wife and I met alot of nice people. Between the campground amenities, battlefield and downtown attractions within a few miles of campground this is a great place to stay we are already looking ahead to our next trip at Gettysburg Campground!

Been visiting here for years. New ownership has definitely made some improvements. Very clean, well staffed and friendly. Upgrades to cable TV, new dog park and golf carts are now allowed. Our only disappointment was they no longer offer Good Sam discount. Still a great campground, a bit pricey but would recommend.

Our First time at Gettysburg Campground, arrived late on Thursday evening, there was some miss understanding with our site with no sewer. Called spoke with owner we chose to stay at the site and he did offer us to move but we wanted to be on creek. Our tank was dumped everyday right at noon as he promised. ( We had power, water & cable) Between the Owner, Dolores, Bella and rest of the staff EVERYONE was great, kind and sites were all very clean so we’re all the public areas and restrooms. We will be returning to this one, rain, cold even snow and it was still a great weekend.

Try Round Top Campground in Gettysburg for winter sites.
Yes I think so because it's a public camp ground and it's a creek, private, members only camp ground with a catch and release pond then no license is needed
No there is no shuttle that runs from the campgrounds to town

I believe beginning of April till just before Thanksgiving
Yes, if you have less than 4 adults at your campsite your guest can visit for free. If there are more than 4 adults, it's $5. Either way your guests will need a parking pass.
you would have to check their website I know they closed for the season the week before Thanksgiving and I'm not sure when they open back up. Call the campground and talked to Robert he's the owner.
yes, contact the campground. As far as I know the season sites are near the water if i remember correctly.
They do not allow golf carts, mini bikes or atv's. However this campground is so well maintained and level, walking is very easy and enjoyable! And it's not very large which makes walking very nice.
Toward the back. Campground is subject to flooding if heavy rains come, but campground gives refund if you have to evacuate. I think it is still the best campground in the area. Will be returning again this summer. Great staff, clean and very nice pool.
