It was a beatiful park. Large playground, snack stand with bathrooms. A nice pond with three fountains. The only issue is it's like a maze!! We had to call for directions to the picnic site. Grounds well maintain. Plenty of port o potties but some were just too dirty or had no paper.

I have been coming here since I was a kid and my fur kid LOVES it here. There are so many nice and safe places to walk all around the park so I frequent here often with the pups. I love the 10 mile river walk and bike path they have in the park and Leia loves the side trails surrounding it. We try to stick to those trails because they are so peaceful and comforting but when we're in a rush, we usually stick to the dog park or to doing loops in and around the park. There are many things to do here but the trails by far, are my favorite and you can easily access them on the bike path. On a side note, I love the old school carousel when she's up and running. I even go on rides as an adult because it reminds me of the good moments I had as a child at this park. My favorite animal to ride is the dog of course! Stop into the mini zoo they have as well with the goats and Guinea hens, it's adorable to see the kiddos reactions to the animals and it may just make you happy to see them as well.

Always love coming to slater Park! It's so big and it's an awesome place to bring the family and a ball to play/hangout. The playground is awesome and the disc golf (9 hole) is pretty fun! Be sure to check out the gnome house!

Great place for a stroll, beautiful Fall day. All should check out this park and one can connect with the Ten Mile River Greenway Bikepath here as well…fun for all.

Yes. I walkmy dogs on the bike path that runs along the creek. But you may walk them anywhere as long as they're leashed and you clean up after them. They also have a small and a large dog park where they can run free and play with other dogs.

If you need to use the the fireplaces of the grill you must go on the left side where they have the Carousel and get a permit for that day you want but you must get it before you the day you want and you must be a resident of the city of Pawtucket

What if you don't want to use a grill that's already used?
Don't know you'll have to check with the city on that
Unfortunately I do not know, however you can call the parks & Recreation department
Yes I was there today
Zoo is a strong word..more like a small farm. But it's still there, small and awesome! Donkey, birds, goats, etc.
Park excellent for walking even with dog on leash, or jogging. Pond there to fish. Carousel was being repaired. Might be open now.
I looked around to and couldn't locate an answer.
Yes. I believe they can be obtained at City Hall in downtown Pawtucket
Yes it is, and the bathrooms are nice too
It is pretty big and near the carousel and tennis courts. There is a smaller one too.
Sundown to sunrise (save for sanctioned events, like Pumpkins in the Park) has always been my understanding.
Most likely, they are redoing a few courts in pawtucket atm .
Free
I really dont know

In the past you had to sign up through the Pawtucket. Parks and Recreation Dept. Call Pawtucket City Hall. If you were hoping to be able to do this year. I believe your too late. I know you have to purchase the tree through the park. They provide the tree and family, friend, or company decorates the tree. And Its done before the yearly Snow Festival. I hope that's helpful information.
It's a beautiful Park to go to
