Slater Mill is a nice historical place (cotton mill). They keep it up well and it has benches and trash barrels. Nice view of the Blackstone River. I saw a blue Heron at the river. They offer tours of the buildings every now and then. Nice place for photography !

A great national park, running cotton gin. This place is the beginning of everything. There will be a PBS special soon, I must visit Slater Mill again.

Nice park to sit and relax. Listening to the water is very relaxing. Lots history too. Learn about Slater Mill and the Blackstone River.

The Old Slater Mill and other buildings that are around the Historic District were acquired by the National Park Service in 2021. We were part of the first 10,000 inside according to the ranger. They’re still setting up displays and they have more work to do on other buildings but it was an interesting part of our history and culture. To get your passport stamped cross the Roosevelt Ave street. restrooms are located there. As well as additional museum exhibits.
