So far I have not had a good experience with this dealership. After purchasing a used car (2011 Jeep Patriot) from them, I have had problem after problem and the service center has been less than helpful. Two weeks after driving the car I had to take it back for a number of reasons but primarily for a clunking noise in the front end…it took three service members to drive it before figuring out that the car needed new sway bar links (something that should have been caught during inspection…if there was one). They replaced the links and apparently nothing else was wrong with the vehicle. Later in the day I picked the car up to find the check engine light was on…after bringing it back the next day it ended up being the gas cap but one of the service members pointed out a grinding in the wheels on tight turns. I had mentioned this when I had first brought it back…I imagine they didn’t look into it the first time but not to worry bc I was told to bring it back the following Thur. However, the car didn’t make it that long before it started clunking worse than before (sounds like the suspension is ready to snap in half)…I’m currently waiting to see what they have to say about it but so far I am less than impressed with the service. I wasn’t even given a loaner until the third time that I brought it in.Time and inconvenience aside, I feel like the repairs (if they are even being done) are rushed and careless without concern for customer safety. Unfortunately, after having shared my experience with others, I learned that this kind of subpar service seems to be the norm here. Save yourself the hassle and just go somewhere else where they will hopefully value their customers a bit more.

This has to be the greediest and sleeziest dealership I’ve ever been too. After false promises and a one and a half our drive, I’m leaving this dealership empty handed. Half of a tank of gas and half a days work out the window because I trusted this “family owned business” to sell me a new Accord. When the embarrassingly low trade in value was rejected, they refused to sell my the car unless I accepted it - even though the same car I was going to trade in was selling at $6,000+ on their lot, they would not offer me a fair number, and if I did not take their number they would not sell me the vehicle. Dealerships and salesmen are all the same, they tell you what you want to hear to get you through the door just to embarrass you and take as much from you as possible once you walk in. I wouldn’t recommend the Lundgren family dealership to anyone after my experience, and the car shortage is no excuse. Bad business is bad business, you are a greedy car group who didn’t follow through with your deal even though I drove 85 miles to follow through on my end. Shame on you

I recently had my car inspected at one of those quick stop garages in Hadley, MA and it failed inspection. I was asked to come into the garage as they’d put the car on the lift and a mechanic explained I needed a new muffler and perhaps one of the connecting pipes. He said there probably was a hole on top of the muffler. They could have the parts in an hour and the cost would be approximately $1000.00. Having some doubts and because I’d never used this garage for repairs (other than for annual car inspections), I called a garage I’ve used in the past: Lundgren Honda in Greenfield, MA and spoke with Jon. He gave me an appointment within the week and they found the muffler and pipe were fine…I only needed to replace a rusty flange. Total cost: under $250.00. Granted if the muffler and or connecting pipe needed to be replaced, then I would do it willingly. However, at the Hadley Garage, it all seemed like a hard sell and I wasn’t sure I trusted the mechanic’s opinion. I felt I was being taken advantage of because I failed the annual auto inspection. I liked Jon, the Service Advisor I dealt with at Lundgren Honda and felt I was in good hands. For 30 or so years my sister has had her car serviced under the guidance of Rob Avery, the Service Manager at Lundgren Honda and trusts him explicitly. I like the atmosphere at Lundgren and find people are friendly and helpful and in this case, they saved me lots of money!
