I have used Vance county landfill multiple times without too many issues never had a problem unloading, this morning after an hour wait they told me you can’t drive up there without a tarp, I have never had a tarp on any of my loads in the back of my truck none of them exceed over the tailgate he told me too bad you have to come back, I can just unload what I have. Response sorry no you’ll have to come back. Don’t think I will be returning what a joke.

On Saturday July 3rd at 5:00pm both the convenience sites on Highway 39 and Warrenton Road are full and not accepting any trash. The attendant indicated the contractor, GFL would not be working on Monday. This sounds like poor planning on the county's part. And we wonder why the roads are littered with bags of trash. Are my expectations too high?

Could share price per ton of 65.00 before someome drives so far out there. Much less have a number where someone would answer. There it is... free info if anyone needs it. No charge for that.

The personnel there are really nice and helped me place my mother's garbage in the appropriate dumpsters.
