I'm trying to make an appointment to private social security in Sacramento they're not even answering their phone how you going to apply it's always online what's up with that

Very pathetic service and a total waste of our tax funds. Staff (especially Marline) are very rude when one calls them over phone and always in a hurry to hang up and avoids helping people. Customer service training is highly recommended. While hiring staff, the SSA should test the peoples skills of new recruits before placing them in people facing roles. Current lot at this location has no peoples skills. Total overhaul of staff required at this location if SSA wants to better serve the community.

My time on this s.s a. site was not so great.all I needed was (is) a REPLACEMENT card for my dad.simple righ? WRONG! Site even tells us its easy.im here to tell all of you it is NOT.i tried it 3or4 times and same result. I got locked out of my account for 24hrs and had to try again next day.well this is the next day and I still have no replacement card folks..so now I'm onto ANOTHER day and another phone call to them. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE.3

Redirected over to this office to file my paperwork for a new card. Security was thorough but friendly and helpful. The wait for service was about an hour without an appointment which is reasonable. They had an Express lane for some but I didn't meet the requirements. The gentleman who helped me file my paperwork was efficient and supportive, getting me out the door in less than 5 minutes after talking to him. Overall a good experience with the SSA.

I need to turn my benifitsback on. .
Hi there, to make an appointment online please go to socialsecurity.gov and follow the prompts to make an appointment, change your address , file a claim online , or find an office near you. I hope this helps.
Hi there , yes you can get a replacement social security card here. Go inside and to the fast track board on the wall near the back two doors. You will find the paperwork to request a replacement card there or go to the kiosk and enter your information to be called.
Probably not. But ill give it a shot. You should probably modify your question to include more details about what you need help with if you want someone to answer your prayers. Even SSA experts arent mind readers.
Yes
You can call the social security help desk for more information
1. You have to call your local office to make an appointment (depends on your zip code). 2. It is very difficult to get through all the pre-recorded announcements and prompts and more often than not you're going to get disconnected especially if you call around closing time, but be patient, once you get the golden ticket, I mean the appointment, it's all happy sailing
Call Social Security Admin as they are not accepting walk ins without an appointment
Go to the office and request a direct Express card they will send one in the mail as soon as 15 business days.
Yes
Can I get my social security card at Folsom branch with no appointment?¿
Go to the IRS
You really don't need to. I took my daughter last week to get a replacement card, and there were maybe 10 people total inside but we were only there 30 minutes total tops. Our wait was maybe 5 minutes at most. That office is usually pretty quick and efficient.
You can make appointments for thus office
Yes but I walked up with no appointment and was called pretty quick
You can’t they don’t do they job
There is no fax number available for the Social Security office
You have to speak to an operator to request an appointment
Yes. SSA does process ss-5 by mail. The key is to make sure for documents are original. They do not accept copies.
I need to apply for widower benefits I have received all the information you guys needed to complete the application
Go online at their website and schedule an appointment in your area.
I agree with Angela Mack call and make appointment they're only taking appointments only
Not that I am aware of. They're all by appointment only.
Go to the office and they Guard will give a piece of paper so you can call. You speak to someone and you go from there.
You have to have an appointment
Yes, by appointments only. On 9/9, I saw at least 3 persons being turned away who walked in without appointment.
Only thing I know is that you can apply online.
No walk ins are being taken you need to make an appointment over the phone to be seen inside the building. They have a drop box on Thursdays 9am to 12pm.
Yes you can, that's what I went for last week
Folsom Blvd. office has a drop box open every Thursday 6 am - 12 pm.
No
During covid you have to call your local office and they will schedule an appointment. You can also print the form from their website, complete it and mail it in with all your original documents. Local office number can be found on their website.
You have to call
They only allow people filing to get their very first social security card. You have to either mail in the application, apply online, or virtual interview for Identity verification.
You can get a replacement by applying online.
Hello, yes the building is closed to the public at the time for walk-in. It's by appointments only, and the security will let you through for that. Although they do have a drop box open on Thursdays. You can call and talk to them directly to schedule as the phone wait time are usually not too terrible
Yes
I think you probably need to send and request by mail..but you can always call and they're very nice at helping either way..atlust that way you'll have solid information
I tried there are no people in there that I can see and if there is they don't come to the door
It's best to call them and find out the details from the actual people that works in that office cause the working hours or details can change daily due to covid-19
Are the office open on Folsom Blvd or still closed!
No it's not open to the public .... if you go to the office there is a number on the door that you call and it'll give you some options to choose from but if it is not an emergency and not a 911 emergency they won't talk to you the phone will have you sitting there on hold forever so the best bet is to go to the office and call the number on the door and go from there but there are no walk ins nor are they just taking anyone at this time... most of the time they'll direct you to there website.
You would halfta to it online because the actual building is not open to the public... theres a 1-877 number you call and follow there instructions.
I would suggest what Rochelle Myles said, & also check in with the Social Security Office 8085 Folsom Blvd "A" Sacramento, CA. 95826 Possibility?
As, Sheryl Kingsley has answered you do not have to have an appointment you can walk in.
Driver's License, or State ID, Proof of Address, and Birth Certificate, I Believe. I do know for sure that one of the ID's you have to have, but if you have the other Two Available it doesn't hurt to take them with you also as a just in case.
Dont speak or write spanish. Sorry
No, I would think not. Tomorrow is Veterns Day. Which I believe is considered a National Holiday. Soo.......no one is working either for the government or the banking system. They will however be open on Tuesday, and there after the regular schedule goes back into effect.
It's Definitely a Scam. Do Not Reply, Block the Phone Number, Report the Phone Number to Social Security.
Depends how long it takes too process the paperwork. Its usually 60-90 days but could be longer because they are straight lazy.
Yes she can. And also you can call the medical deartment
Yes that's correct. Heads up there is a charge bring credit card. Create an online account with SSA while you are there.
Ok. Make an police report. You eill get an receipt. Take the police receipt to Social Security and they will issue you another one where it will be mailed. Then put an fraud alert on that number. Identity Theft is real.
Yes
File an appeal online. Create your account on my SSA. Gov

You would have too go inside the social security office and bring you information to change it
No you dont
Its best you go into the office. It closed at 12 today. It opens back up at 9 tomorrow
Its better too take it in depending which you go to. The one on Folsom Blvd you go straight too the back and do your social security card stuff opens at 9
If you have an account go into your email
If you are married and have the legal document you can go there in the quick line. I don't think you can go online and do it.yes
Walkin only, no appts
There seems to many variables to your situation. Best to call first instead of waiting hours for nothing
Yes
You can go into the office. Show proof of death for her. Show your ID and proof of relationship like a birth certificate

From ssa website: "IMMEDIATE PAYMENT We may be able to make an immediate payment to new applicants and those already receiving SSI whose benefits are delayed or not received and who face a financial emergency. The immediate payment cannot be higher than $999.00. WHO CAN RECEIVE AN IMMEDIATE PAYMENT?
