Goodwill Wallingford Store and Donation Center

This store's location is fairly convenient, near the center of Wallingford. However, the selection is not what one would expect, and the prices are higher than one would typically pay at a Goodwill store. If you're willing to spend some time hunting and searching, you might find what you're looking for. A ton of junk, outdated merchandise, and non-working devices and appliances are in abundance. Men's and women's clothing, the occasional living room or bedroom furniture, bags/purses, and shoes are worth the trouble. Your best bet is to ask the staff for when they will be having a store-wide sale or discount. They are happy to tell you.

They priced a pair of Where's Waldo Vans used at $50. Whoever is pricing does not know how to filter sold prices on ebay. Even on eBay they list for $45. Goodwill employees, you have to search for the item then filter for sold and see what they are actually selling for. Not just what people List It for. I could list a piece of garbage for $5,000 but that doesn't mean it sells for that. Also, all of your stuff is donated. Stop being so money hungry for corporate. The employees and even the manager and even the district manager don't get the top UPS or the extreme money the CEO gets so stop over pricing stuff you're not impressing anyone. You're just being gross

Staff have been pleasant when I visit. Can get a little messy/disorganized, but thrift stores are normally like this so I cannot, reasonably, fault them for it.

Clean and well-organized but not many items of interest and my size for me. Probably fine for older patrons. Not $$$ as some reviews said but I think people were referring to the uniform pricing that’s not reflective of an item’s worth. For example, a famous brand dress and no name mediocre dress may both cost $12.99. I mean this could be advantageous for someone getting a deal for the brand name item.
