Fabulous selection for plants and garden decor. Inside the house you'll find an artful collection of old and new. Looking for the perfect gift this is the place to go. Everyone is helpful. Beautiful historic archeticture to spend time brightening your day. Easily my go to place for plants.

I accidentally came across this place traveling back from Inglis Florida to Lake Panasoffkee Fl. It grabbed my attention as soon as I came by it, because it's a beautiful big house made into a nursery/ gift shop. I had my husband turn around and go back to check it out and am so glad we did🌺Such a quaint unique place with so many wonderful treasures. A great one tank destination. We will be returning.

It's a shame that mask wearing is such an issue. Wearing it during the pandemic protects not only you but OTHER PEOPLE. Please be respectful if a shop asks you to wear one. Staff is always friendly, very knowledgeable, and helpful when you ask about plants. None of my plants purchased there have died, and I've bought other items there as well as one of my larger rugs. Guest lectures have been great - I loved the snake discussion!

Made a trip in search of a large piece of exterior wall art for my mother's house. What a mind-blowing experience it turned out to be. Grumbles House is just slightly off the well-traveled path of FL State Route 41, in Dunellon, FL. This former turn of the century, two-story, stately home has been transformed into an oddity shop of epic proportions! The adage, "if they don't have it then you don't need it", definitely applies here. Everything from trinkets & baubles, to lawn & house ornaments, to plants and art can be found here...and much more. It's nearly overwhelming, and I love it. Did I mention the quaint little cafe'? Because there's a quaint little cafe' off to the side of the main house, down a pathway, though all the large trees & lawn ornaments. I didn't eat this trip, but I really wanted to! You'll also find a smaller home converted into a clothing/jewelry/antique boutique on the same property, but that's another review for another time.

Hello, Boomtown, the chamber of commerce's spring festival, is coming up Sat. Apr. 9. It's a full day event with vendors, music, food, etc. We will have live music between our 2 shops on a stage set up on Cedar St. all day. Otherwise, the First Saturday Village Market has been moved from our neighborhood to Ernie Mills Park and the chamber has taken that over as well. Their number is (352) 489-2320 or dunnellonchamber.org for more info.
We ask everyone to mask when in either shop and even in the garden when within 6 feet of others not in your party.
We having creeping raspberry, perennial peanut and several other ground covers but not that one at the moment. If i find some for you, ill be back in touch.
No, I'm sorry we don't. It doesn't sell well these days. Occasionally we take some on consignment and rarely someone comes in and loves it and buys it but generally it sat here, got marked down several times and eventually, donated so we don't take up space with it . If culture changes to where it is again valued and sought after, we would be happy to as there are some beautiful sets out there, but for now, no.
They have a large variety of plants. Trees vary and are usually in the front left corner of the property.
Sweetie's Cafe is on our property but no, I'm sorry, they are open Mon-Sat. 10-3. She does open if you book a reservation for 15 or so but you would have to get with Gena, the owner of the cafe, to set that up. Her number is 352-216-2510 and you can text to that phone as it is a cell. She is also open the 4th Firday evening of each month for dinner with a reservation at 6pm folowed by Music on the Porch at 7pm.

No, we don't at this time but these are the kinds of questions we love; we learn about something new and different and those are the kinds of plants we like to carry! Thanks for asking but sorry, can't help you right now.
