I am a scoutmaster of a boy Scout Troop and I can tell you that their group area is absolutely beautiful and super nice. The camp host was extremely helpful. The bathrooms are sufficient and very clean. This provides nearby access to bike trails or a short drive to santos. To be aware that for the group area there's a few hundred yard walk from the parking area where you have to unload your gear to the campground. But that's what makes the campground so beautiful is the seclusion from the regular camping spots.

This park is a great little camp ground. Our camp host Paula was friendly, informative and answered all our questions about the area! We’ll be traveling through again in a few months and definitely will stay again! If you like walking trails, large camp sites and clean bathrooms with large showers check this place out! If you found this helpful, please give us a thumbs up!

The park was clean and well kept. The bathrooms were wide and nice. The space for each camper is wide so you don’t have to see your neighbors too close. The path to go walking was nice and clean and well marked. It was a close drive to the Rainbow Springs. Due to COVD19 we couldn’t get in the rainbow park but there are other places to float from and they are near ross prairie. I recommend it.

Gary was an a great host and got us in last minute with no questions asked. Not much shade in the RV area as some other reviews mentioned, but each site does have a small tree, fire pit, and picnic table. Bathroom and shower area was also in side but never used. It was great for the quick 1 night we needed it for. There are trails for hikers and horses, but that's kind of it. Would stay again for sure if need be.

You can exit until 7. The ranger on site will give you the code for the gate when you check in. You must lock it behind you when you leave after 7p to 7am.
Yes, if you are using the trailhead map, headout of park turn right the tailhead has no parking off the main paved road but the paved trwil is300 ftfrom the fence line.
State parks usually have a 14 day limit. They might allow you to stay longer if they have the space. There is no monthly rate.
Yes along as u pay for a site you can sleep in your truck
I only saw RVs there. Pretty trails and nice facilties.
No sewer hook up. You will find that in most FL State Parks they only have water and electricity. They do have bathhouse with showers.
Water, electric, and dump station.

Have to leave the campground for 14 days , all state parks in fl have that same rule
14 day limit, 22.00 per night . Size of camper makes no difference all sites are 50 amp
Not in the campground. Not far away you can find some springs to swim.
There hiking, mountain biking trails, when I was a kid I loved exploring the woods. I still do !!!
Not as recreational. To and from your camper might be acceptable though. This is an equenine park with horses in the camping area.
Beautiful here today. Trails are clear.
