My family absolutely loved this ground. Our first time camping here but definitely not our last. It’s beautiful! We camped at site 54. Initially we were worried about the open space (not many trees surrounding this spot, so no privacy) but it worked great for our large family of six. We didn’t feel on top of the other campers (it wasn’t very many, as we went during the week) and was able to use the open field next to us for games. The ground was clean, quiet and everyone friendly. We rode bikes, canoed and swam. Couldn’t ask for a better time.

I’ve been camping here for more than three years, and I’ve see that the maintenance of the park hasn’t been done. About two years the restrooms at the office are closed and the landscaping hasn’t been done. I feel sorry for that because it’s a beautiful place to stay with family. We really deserve a nice maintenance at the restrooms near the tent sites. It’s nasty and barely kept.

Very disappointed with the campground!!! They do very little upkeep, the swimming area and pavilions are overgrown and horrible looking. And then there's the side business of tubers coming in blocking up the campers area and you can no longer park your car down there you having to purchase a armband from the side business. Sad way of doing business!!!

Absolutely love it. We are Florida natives and native Americans who love to live by the land and in the nature where it all is so this is where we always are and it is beautiful and peaceful. Our kids absolutely love it out here

Pets are allowed, but when we camped there last Oct, our dogs were covered in those horrible (painful!) stickers in the grass at our site. We left early.
No you will need to drive and its about a 7 min drive
No, unfortunately there is no boat docking. I was hoping there would be so we could bring our boat but there isn't. And the camping spaces are kinda small if you were to try to bring one.
We just camped there for $40 per night. We had water, electricity and sewer at our site. They also have very clean bathrooms with showers!
The tubes were working when i went also cannoing is perfect for that place. It beautiful!!
$35/night +/-
$30 a night for tent sites
Yes they have really nice camp sites. We stay there in a tent Everytime we go down to Central Florida.all camp sites have water and electricity
No cabins
Go to reserve america for rates I think it is limited to 2 weeks at a time in state parks. It has full hookups. One of the few state parks with full hook ups
The sites to the north side have less trees
Yes, but they restrict the size
The campground water access is on the opposite side of the river and about a half mile downstream from the spring head. You must drive, swim or paddle to the spring head but you can get into the river from the campground.
If you are staying in the campground your camping permit gets you in the swimming area for free. If you are not camping there it's a small fee.
Yes
You can go to headsprings from river or drive there. Is very rare to teach capacity in winter
When I went recently we did an RV/tent spot and it was $30 plus tax
There are so many variables I suggest you contact them and let them know what you have in mind. It's a beautiful place, I hope you get to go.
Yes, they are always sold out. Do it months in advance to find something.
I seen many people bicycling but on the edge of the road, no special road if that's what you were asking. Hope that helps
We were there last weekend 2 nights with all fees was 75.00 I believe.
Nooooooo
Not in the water..
I think they do. U can call them
All sites have water and electric and there is a bath house also
The campground is open at full capacity. The Springs are open at 50 percent capacity. Beautiful place.
There are parking spaces near the tent sites, but some of the sites are a little bit of a walk.
We had service at the camp ground and main spring head with t mobile. Not at the lower tube pickup point.
Right from the campground
There were not any cabins at Rainbow Springs Campground.
A few hundred yards from almost any campsite
I didn't see one when I was there
There's a fee for camping, but as a state park it's very reasonable with discounts for seniors.
It's 33.30 a night for both tent and the sites. Full hook up on all sites. There can be 8 people per sight. Make reservations on reserveAmerica.com. you can reserve 11 months in advance and we are slam packed almost all year.
At the campground at think it will be ok..but the springs I do not think so...2 separate things here...one is the campground the other side is the springs...and don't connect but is part of the State Park
No cabins. Very limited activities. Not an updated state park.
There is one small spot by the tube entrance into the river where you can fish from shore. But it's best if you can get out on the river for fishing. And there is an area that is designated for swimming. It's not very big of an area though. It's kinda more for just hanging out and cooling down.
I played the 9 hope course. It was very nice; you should enjoy it.
As everyone else has said...reserveamerica.com Have a nice time x
Unfortunately, there are no cabins to rent inside of Rainbow Springs Campground.
