I’ve been trying to get a hold of my kids immunization records. Signed a medical release form 3 weeks ago I call everyday to see if the form is ready and everyday I get a different response. I was told I was going to get a call back today and they close at 5pm and still nothing.

I brought my daughter for a series of vaccinations and the service was extraordinary! No sooner had we checked in with immunizations, we were invited back to the exam room where the shot was quickly administered. We were in and out in less than 3 minutes. The staff is extremely friendly and polite. It is a joy to go to the Health Department in Marion County.

I had been watching the struggle of Florida residents trying to obtain the Covid-19 Vaccination with great concern and wondered when the vaccine might be available to my mother who is in the 65+ group here in Marion County. I hoped there would not be the kinds of waiting lines by foot or car that I had been seeing from other Florida counties on television but figured we would have to do whatever we needed to get my mother that vaccine. When the vaccine for Marion County was advertised on the news one evening, I immediately got online to try to get an appointment for her. Once I completed inputting the information, I was instructed that someone from the Marion County Health Department would contact us for scheduling. I figured we might have to wait several weeks to a month, but within a week or so, I received a call on Thursday, January 21, 2021, stating they could give her an appointment for the following day at 2:45 p.m. I was given the information as to the place, Paddock Mall, and that there would be carts to help get people from their car to the front doors of the Mall entrance in case we had to park far away. When Friday came, I packed up my mother’s wheelchair, an umbrella in case we had to stand out in the rain/sun, sweaters, and water for us both. We arrived at the Paddock Mall and I was surprised that I did not see a long line of people winding around the building. Instead, we found a good parking spot, walked up to the small tent directly outside the entrance, and received a short form to fill out with a color-coded numbered card. Before we could complete the form, our color was called where we then moved up to a waiting spot to the left of the entrance doors. Within about 5 minutes we were escorted inside to a table where I checked her in and handed in the form. The staff gave us her second appointment to come back for the last of the two vaccinations. No more than another 5 minutes we were then placed in a line that moved quickly around a few store fronts and into an empty store space where she received her vaccine provided by nursing staff. We then went to a thirty-minute waiting area where we received pertinent information regarding the vaccine and what to do if any problems occurred. After that, we were free to go. The whole process took about one hour. The Marion County Health Department, Fire Department/EMT’s, volunteer staff, and Marion County Sheriff’s Office did a fantastic job of setting up and processing the Covid-19 Vaccinations. I believe the entire State of Florida could benefit from the way Marion County has taken on this project.

Q why can't you notify people who registered online and gave you their email address a notification that their request has been receive and why cant those same people be notified via email of the appointment data and time. Also why can't you predict an appointment time for people. You know how many shots per day you can do. It doesn't have to be exact it could be " the week of" with a follow-up with an exact time by email &/or phone( leave voice mail)

Can I order my shot records on line?
A month's worth of pay stubs, social security card, ID or liscence, and proof of assistance like foodstamps paperwork stating how much your given.
You have to contact the state you were born in. Cost varies by state.
If you still live in the area, go to the health Dpt and they will give you a blue paper to fill out "application for florida birth record" it will say. Its $13 and $7 for each additional copy if you want extra. You can get a protective plastic sleeve if you choose also, for an extra 3 bucks! Hope this helps! 😆
Yes
Not sure. Call to be sure.
Code enforcement
Go online. Orange park should have a vital statistics or birth records tab.
No they are closed in conjunction with Thanksgiving. Will reopen at 8 am on Monday 11/27/2017
I'm sure they have information on any assistance available.
Where can I get my vaccine in Ocala fl
I signed up for the covid vaccine - how can I tell if I'm on the list to be called.
Go to the website and fill out the request form they will call you to set up an appointment. Very simple registration. Can be done from a smartphone or a computer.
Go to website and register now.
Go to the website and register for one.
Register now on the website
Click on the dept of health website and register. Very easy process.
Your county dept of health website has the registration. Very easy to complete.
I don't know. I'm not sure they have a gynecologist specifically. Call first.
There should be a manager or head honcho to complain to. I don't know what the person's name is but I assume you can ask at the desk. This is a county run facility so the better business bureau won't be able to do anything. I would start with the person in charge at the health dept.
I believe they do offer pregnancy test, but not sure about a confirmation letter. The Women's Pregnancy Center on Silver Springs Blvd does though. They were so wonderful when I went back in 2018.
No
Sorry I don't know. Call them. Heart of Florida Health Center, which is located at the same location, does provide shots. Most pharmacies can do that too.
Yes. Go in fill out the application and pay a small fee.
I'm not sure. Call first.
Since you have Medicaid already, you will need to call around to dentists and ask if they accept the Medicaid you have.
My advice is to call them because I usually get my grandsons shot record from his doctor. However I do know that you will need his birth certificate and your ID or license. Best to call or check their website.
Yes but definitely call first. You may need an appointment.
Should be free
I think that's more of a Google kind of question. Extremely dangerous, by the way. So take precautions or report it.
I was able to go online about 5 years ago and purchase a copy from FloridaHealth.GOV
How much is it to get the depo shot?
Yes but you must have current records on paper with you.
Probably 2 forms of I.D. and proof of address.
You need to contact whatever county from Boston Mass you're from.
You have to go in and be put on a sliding scale. Might not be free but it's cheap.
No. Department of children and families. Or apply online.
For an ultrasound? You might be better going to the Alpha center, they are free and accommodating
Submit last 4 paystubs, and they will put you on a sliding scale. Might be free, depending on income.
The Florida Department of Health in Marion County does not provide ultrasounds.
Did you get any info yet? I'm in the need for the same.
No
Yes
Any health department in Florida.
They take walk-ins, depending on what you are there for. If you are trying to see an ARNP, or get WIC, then no. If you need birth control, immunizations, birth certificate, then yes.
I don't think so. You would have to call and see if they could mail it to you. The only way your mother could get it, is if she had custody of your child.
Because they don't get enough funding, and the employees are sick of their jobs, so they are rude to everyone.
You would have to see an ARNP/Dr to get a referral, then go somewhere else for the imaging.
I have never heard of them testing the water, but I do know there is another company here in Ocala that does test the water.
Yes
This question needs to be more specific. Which day, of which month?
