The Salvation Army has some of the kindest and most helpful people working there. Whether or not I leave with the item I was looking for I am always satisfied at the end of my visit. I recommend to all people who are either wanting to donate or just looking to purchase used goods to try the Salvation Army.

A decent enough choice of used product and the items are "clean" as far as dirt/mildew/smell. They are a donation central hub, so it seems to be well stocked. Special pricing for items that haven't sold in a week or two. I have scored some nice goodies there. There is some clutter though. Otherwise a good place for used merchandise.

Terrible business practices. Rude staff. Twice a day their laborers go out into the common area for a "coffee" break. The cloud of cigarette smoke fills the entire store. Collectibles are priced ridiculously high for a thrift shop. Only go here if you need to pick up a specific color item of clothing for cheap.

Worcesters biggest thrift store!! Prices could probably be lower, but other than that, the building was once a large factory/warehouse, it's got plenty of space for things of thrifty nature. It's clean, as far as second hand stores go, but the thing that you'll love the most is the staff (if you're anything like me). Their employees are people working on bettering their own lives. They know all about want vs. need, and what it's like to be short on money. They are incredibly helpful, down-to-earth, understanding people.
