I love camping here. I was on site 3 and 15. Loved 15. 30 second walk to the Swift from site 15. Water was about 70 degrees. Cooler up here on hot summer days. Host Red is great. No noise after 10pm. Sites are spacious and set far enough apart for privacy. Wood available from Red. Cold, pure water available at numerous spigots. No showers. No bathrooms...just outhouse pit toilet.

This used to be a great campground. Over the last few years the place has really gone downhill. It is roughing it type camping, but this place has gotten bad. New camp hosts this year keep the bathrooms cleaner than the hosts in the past, which is nice. BUT they stink more than ever. So beyond keeping the bathrooms a bit cleaner, nothing else is better. Ive gone through and they have allowed camping in areas that say no camping. The pads are getting awful. These sites look like they are hardly ever cleaned out, look like they are never filled in. I went to this campground for many years and never had issues until the last few years. This year being the absolute worst. Found another campground at exit 28, less people. Most of the people here are from NH, and are quiet. Place is clean, still roughing it camping, but with flushing toilets and lights in the bathroom. Found my new spot where I can be with my own kind!

This is a great "roughing it" campground. Inexpensive (get there early to get a good site in-season), no cell service, no electricity. There are water spouts for filling jugs etc. Bathrooms are not running water ones, but if you have a pass here you can use the nice ones at Jigger Johnson next door. The hosts here were excellent and very friendly. We'll be coming back next summer! (Photos are from a little river you can access via a short trail thru the woods.)

Overall pretty good. They given you the essentials, have plenty of bathrooms scattered around, and you're not too close to other campers. It's not gorgeous camping, but it's nicely wooded and near the waterfalls

we spent the weekend and only saw the gentleman who drives the golf cart, we have two dogs so people avoid our site and we spent most of our time swimming and hiking. I hope you find the answers you're looking for :-)
