Quiet, neat, and clean resort. Very well maintained. THEY SPRAY FOR MOSQUITOS!. My power podium decided to retire during my stay. I had the resort maintenance supervisor at my podium in less than 5 min. In 10 min the problem was diagnosed, onsite parts where delivered. Within 15 min the metal electric distribution box was found faulty. Total distribution system replacement was required. A dispatch call was made to an electrical construction contractor who was on his way with all required parts on truck. I went to CiCis pizza. Took my time came back in time to say goodbye to the contractor. This time of year AC and AC sustain life here. I'm a 40+ year computer engineer. I have experienced many outage to repair efforts. The sense of ownership and urgency demonstrated during these few hours by all involve, from front office to grounds keeping, was exemplary. Oh, I forgot to mention. It was Saturday.

Sherwood Forest is a dump, so unless you’re going there just to dump your RV, run. Many, and I mean many, of the spots were not cut, Many, and I mean many, of the RVs and cars that have been there for how many years have grass and weeds growing underneath them. There are manufactured homes throughout the campground that are not very well-kept, had an abundance of growth around them and permanent residents who do not keep up their homes or campers. Some of the campers look like they have been there since World War II. Nothing but loud obnoxious and rude children at the pool and the basketball court was nonexistent. You have to pay for Internet unless you go to their clubhouse. Cable didn’t work. If you want to use putt putt or outside activities you have to do it before five because you won’t have access to the sporting supplies after business hours. We will never stay here again. Felt like a third world country.

The park overall is decent.. They have a pool and hot tub. Playground for the kids, Minature Golf (Id is required to use putters/balls), this is a large area plenty of roads to safely ride your bike or walk.. I gave a 4 star because there are rules and they are not being followed.. keep your lot clean... OH fix your water leaks in the roadways, maybe we would all have some water pressure. As we were leaving, I had to turn our pool/shower house card in... I was appalled by the way I was greeted... Like I had horns out of my eyes, like I was bothering him.. Get some customer service skills... That got you a 3 star.. Maybe find a job where you don't deal with anyone but yourself.

Pros: * Centrally located - close to everything, and just minutes from Disney parks. * FREE for Thousand Trails /Encore members. * Usual campground amenities - pool, hot tub (although not very clean), fitness room, mini golf, activities, etc. Cons: * Older campground, only fairly maintained. * Loss of water and power is a common occurrence, which can be very concerning if traveling with pets and you plan to be out for long periods of time. * Limited space between sites.

I've lived here for 18+ years and from what I can remember (9 years or so im turning 23) this place slowly get to be a much worse place to live. They let almost anyone move in here lots of riff raff, crime rate has gone up, lot rent goes up every year no matter what park doesnt care about its residents. But I would serioulsy consider all other options before you thought about moving here.
