Yes, you need the cord and preferably a long one as the box to trailer is different on each site
Last time I was there I bought a cable plugged it into my RV, and set the TV for cable and got a total of two stations that were both very fuzzy. No wonder they are free. .

At Sherwood Forest RV Resort, cable TV is included if you are coming in with a camper, RV, etc
If you're living there things can be installed if you're just staying there then usually you have a dish or something on top of your RV that will work I guess as long as you have service call the office they'll best tell you everything about it
