We walked across the causeway and down the beach to the end of the world! It's an arduous journey, and we were so thankful for the ferry back. Well worth it, though, and a memory we will cherish forever! What a joy it was to jump into the cold water and relax. This really did feel like the very end of the world, and I would visit again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful lighthouse at the very tip of the Cape. Almost no one else here when I visited midday in late June. You can go up to the lighthouse from the beach but cannot go inside. Be careful of the poison ivy which grows amongst the grass. I took the $20 return trip ferry across from Provincetown pier - otherwise a long hike across the beach awaits. Lots of seals here too!

This lighthouse is located in a quite but beautiful beach, not too many travelers there. The sand is soft and smooth. You can only see the lighthouse from distance. From the beach, you can see a good view of P-town, and seals in the water or on the beach. It’s a good place to escape from the crowded streets and enjoy a wonderful picnic. You need to take a shuttle boat to get there. I highly recommend there.

We took a walk across the Causeway and decided to walk to the light house. It was a several mile walk and we were a bit anxious about making sure we had to to get back over the Causeway before the tide came in. But we had a good time saw the light house and got to watch some seals off shore as we walked back.

You’d want to ask Flyers Boat rentals that question
Your best bet is to take the Long Point Shuttle from Macmillan Pier. It runs every 1/2 hr and the cost is $20 for a round trip. $15 for a one way trip if you prefer to walk out or walk back in via the breakwater on the west end.
It is an historic lighthouse, still used as a navigational aid for boats going around the tip of Provincetown into the harbor. Long Point Light - Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_Point_Light
Have to take a ferry to it from the docks
