Ate here for the first time, back in the 80's, and fell in love with their food, the best seafood on the Cape! Moved to Australia, and 40 years later, I returned to eat here again, and lo and behold, the food was still fantastic and delicious as I remembered. Highly recommend, worth the wait to get in, you won't regret it! 😋😋

Definitely worth it! Bloody Mary was on point! Our waiter was great, the food was amazing. If you are in the area definitely check it out. They do have seating outside if you want a better view of the ocean. The over all experience was awesome.

This was my first time visiting Provincetown, and we stopped in for lunch. The food was amazing! The hot lobster roll and lobster bisque were the best I ever had!! They serve pumpkin bread and French bread as well. The pumpkin bread was so good and didn't even need butter IMO. Our server was fantastic as well!

Came here early for pride weekend. Get here early since there's no reservations. Usually there's a line. Came here for the clam chowder and a beer. Delicious clam chowder! Great view of the ocean. Portions here are decent. Didn't get the lobster roll, but looks like they give a decent amount of lobster for the sandwich. Service is polite, quick and very attentive. Small two stalled bathroom; is like a closet.

Hi, there is a municipal lot just around the corner at MacMillan Wharf. It's an hourly rate. Safe travels and we'll see you soon!
Hi Kelly, We don't accept reservations so just come in and say hello to the host and they will take care of you. Worst case is you can have a beverage on the deck or take a pager and explore a bit until we have a spot for you.
Hi Tyler, while we don't have an official Kids Menu, we have lots of kid-friendly food that the server will be happy to help with including burgers, pasta, chicken fingers, etc. Thanks!
Sorry Aravindan, That item is no longer on the menu. Here's a link so you have it handy: https://www.ptownlobsterpot.com/menus Hope you can join us before too long.

Thanks for reaching out. We're working on the details on Opening Day and will make announcements on our website and social pages when it's all set. Looking forward to seeing you! MP
Hello and thanks for reaching out. For 2021, we are keeping up our existing standards while additionally separating tables with transparent barriers to provide an extra layer of security and comfort to our guests. In 2020 we did a lot of work to keep our guests and the staff safe and comfortable. Aside from adhering closely to all local and state rules, we installed an iWave air purification system, extra-cleaned with FDA approved products on a regular schedule and fogged the entire restaurant nightly with hospital grade disinfectant. We positioned team members out front to prevent anyone from entering the building unless they were going directly to their table. Staff received extra training and earned ServSafe certifications. Tables & Chairs, etc. were double cleaned with FDA approved products and alcohol based wipes. Entire building cleaned nightly. There's more but you get the picture. We want everyone safe and happy. Hope we see you when we open for 2021.
Hi Sue, we plan on being open that weekend. If anything changes we will make announcements on our web site, social media, etc. Safe travels and hope to see you then.
Yes, and indoor seating is well spaced out as they have removed tables. They have one person check in and then have you wait with your party outside until they are ready to seat you. I felt comfortable with the set up.
Sorry Claire, but unless the dog is a certified service animal we are not able to have your pet join us. You might try our sister business, the Lobster Pot Express. They are focused on Take Out and be sure to ask for a 5 Minute Map. It's a map of great places to take your meal within a 5 minute walk. www.lobsterpotexpress.com Thanks!
Hi Liliana, We are still working out the details so you might consider other plans for Easter. When we set Opening Day we will post on our website and social media. Hope we see you this season!
