This geek squad is a freaking joke! If something happens to your computer just take to a small/regular place where people simply fix things, they can't fix some things from some brands if you didn't buy from them, they ask you 85 freaking dollars just to give you some poor idea of what is happening. It's just an extension of best buy making you waste more money in the store, is not a real place to actually fix your computer. Just take to a REAL professional

Dean, Geek Squad Manager I believe, was incredible. He helped me with tech support on an old laptop, then helped me set-up my new laptop while helping others. True multi-tasking is rare. And shout out to Matt for helping purchase the new laptop!

What a horrible location. Waited over 15 minutes just to speak with someone in the electronics department after asking two other employees if there was someone available to assist me. I finally get someone to assist and wouldn't you know it, the item I was looking for is "out of stock" . I checked the website BEFORE going to this location and the site showed that both new, and open box were in stock. This is now the THIRD time I've gone to this location only to be told the same thing. I saw the item I was looking for in the clearance cage which is locked. I asked the associate twice about it, and both times he just ignored me With prices at or above $5.00 a gallon, I might as well make myself wait around, tell myself no, then throw money out the front door; I'd get the same result. Also, would it hurt to smile every once in a while? Most of the employees look like a mess (shorts half tucked in, not tucked it at all, dirty shirts, etc.). Their appearance, coupled with their attitudes makes me wonder why I even bother going there. If I were the District Manager, I'd be disgusted with how these employees look and behave. Micro Center will be getting my business from now on. It might be a little further of a drive, but at least they'll have what I'm looking for in stock, and will smile while I hand over $1,000.00+ of my hard earned money.

Warning keep away. Poor customer experience. First, I was told the bathrooms are out of order and I can go to Old Navy two door down. As Best Buy staff come out of there public bathrooms. It got worse, when I went to purchase a new cell phone plan, I waited in line for about 15 minutes while the Best Buy staff member was talk to his friends about paint vs wrapping his car. There was no discussion regarding phones or anything best buy sell during my entire time in the store. I left the store in frustration and about 20 minutes later i returned to report poor customer service to the manager. The manger stated the bathrooms were unsafe but ok for staff to use. What does that mean? Then the manager stated the salesperson was creating a rapport with his customer. The staff member was still hanging with his friend an hour later. I will never use this store.

I just paid $50 a tv ( $150 for 3tvs). I had to buy the best buy tech support, $20 a month but every installed is only $50. Even on your car.
If you mean you purchased extra geek squad protection then Ive found geek squad to be reliable. Its when they have to outsource to a third party that sucks due to not having a local presence. Hopefully you are in an area where they have agents. Regardless you will be covered by their service umbrella. 800 geek squad is what you will need to call. Regardless geek squad service is light years ahead of what you will get by dealing with the vendor directly with just a standard warranty that it comes with.
