This store is nice. It’s very clean and organized. The staff is very attentive. However! The general manager is a very bitter, impatient, unpleasant person. I went to do an even exchange for a defective spray paint. He began to mansplain to me the difference in color from print, digital, and actual color - I work in television. His explanation was entirely wrong because the colors were nothing like the other. Anyway. I digress. He stormed off in a huff when I explained how he was wrong. I don’t like being treated like I don’t know what I’m talking about. The assistant manager came over and was much more helpful. Clearly the spray paint was mislabeled by the manufacturer. It was no one’s fault. But I didn’t want to leave the store with the wrong color. Again. So she was a lot more helpful with my minor inconvenience.

What a lovely experience! Bright, knowledgeable, friendly, super-helpful team; excellent stock, even though the store itself is not very big; amazing finds that are so much better to see and try in person, on the spot, than buying online and hoping you won’t have to return it because it looks and works different IRL. And the prices are so much better when you can buy piecemeal! No more automated Amazon shopping for overpriced, overpackaged art supplies.

This place has a pretty good selection of high quality art supplies. There's more on their website than there is in person so it was a little disappointing to not have all the same options in store to test out. They offer discounts for students and have pretty much any art supply you could need in at least one brand. Definitely one of my favorite art stores.
