Horrible experience! My car would not start, so I had it towed to the dealership thinking they would help me out. They told me it would first require a 2 hour diagnostic that would cost me over $400. I assumed that was normal and didn't know otherwise so i said yes. They called me 4 hours later and told me that i needed 2 batteries for $989 (before tax) and then a throttle body and emission service for an additional $658. I told them that they serviced my car in December and already had that service done and they claimed i needed it again. What a scam and rip off. I checked with a mechanic and he confirmed that this was an unnecessary service. I went to get my car, they would only release it until after i paid the diagnostic fee and now i am out $478 and got ZERO for my experience! I am never going to this dealer again and i would recommend that everyone else STAY FAR AWAY! They will only take you money and not provide you with any worthwhile service! After this debacle, I reached out to AAA, they came and did a computer diagnosis in 2 minutes, did not charge me a dime for the diagnosis and then charged me $198 for a new battery and the car is now working just fine!

Excellent customer service in the service department. First service for my recently purchased vehicle. Kevin made the process super easy. Will definitely return to this location.

I had one of the worst experiences ever at this Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership in Paramus. I was extremely disappointed with the service department and their service manager, Alex Vargas. I came in because my AC had not been working and I wanted it to be fixed. I contacted few places that promised me great work and great prices but I decided to go to the dealership anyway because I wanted the work to be done right so I would never have to worry about it again. So I went to the dealership, as soon as I got to the counter, the service member let me know it would cost me an automatic $300+ for a diagnostic fee which I agreed to pay. Once the diagnosis was completed the service member and the manager told me it would cost me $1550 to get the AC fixed. Though I thought it was super expensive just to fix an AC, I still went ahead pay for it anyway because I just had a newborn baby, and I really needed the AC to be fixed for when I have to take my baby to his hospital appointments. 2 hours later, I got called to the counter and they told the work was done and the AC was fixed. I was also told that I had a 2 years guarantee on the work that they did. Knowing that I had a guarantee was somewhat comforting because I knew if I ever had any issues with the AC in the next 2 years then I would be covered. And then I paid the $1550 and took the car home. 3 days later I noticed the AC completely stopped working again. I called the dealership and told them about the problem, they told me to bring the car back in for another check up which I did. When I got there the second time the service manager, Alex Vargas told me they would do another diagnosis. After the second diagnosis was completed the manager, Alex told me it would cost an additional $1879 to fix the AC again which would bring the total to $3,429 which is INSANE just to fix an Air Conditioner. We went back and forth for few minutes discussing the issue and I realized we weren’t getting anywhere I asked about solutions. He then promised me he would help me out. He told me to take the car home then he would call me on Wednesday once he gets some answers from his higher ups. He promised to call me on a Wednesday and of course, he didn’t. I had to call the dealership and left messages for him then when I didn’t hear back from him, I sent him an email. And then he finally got back to me with a very vague answer letting me know it would cost me $1879 to fix the car. The most upsetting part about all this is the fact that I was charged $300+ diagnostic fee in which they completely fail to identify any problems with the car, however, they went ahead anyway charged me $1550 for a very bad job. And when I went back the second time the manager, Alex admitted they missed some stuff during the initial diagnosis and wanted me to pay an additional $1879 to refix everything they had missed during the initial diagnosis, which makes no sense at all. I’m very unhappy with the dealership and the service manager, Alex Vargas My advice to people is if you go there, do not let them upselling you anything. And once they charge you the diagnostic fee, make sure they can guarantee you 100% the problem with your car will be fixed and get something in writing and signed because the service members there are not honest and they only care about upselling services. I find the service manager to be a very dishonest man. Overall it was a very disappointing experience. I spent 2 hours and $1550 and my AC still doesn’t work. Break down charges for an AC repair - mind you the total work was 2 hours LABOR AMOUNT 840.00 PARTS AMOUNT 639.30 MISC. CHARGES 92.46 TOTAL CHARGES 1571.76 LESS DISCOUNTS 125.00 SALES TAX 104.13 PLEASE PAY THIS AMOUNT 1550.89
