I am appalled at the customer service in this store. I went in today asking to see if they could look up in their inventory to see if they had something in stock. The woman just kept repeating whatever we have is out. Now I work in retail and I definitely understand that. But what I was asking is if she would be able to type in what I was looking for to see if they carried it in the store. Like in my store we have iPods that we carry around and whenever a customer asks if we have something we politely look for them. This is what I was looking for. Not a hey do you have any in the back. Just do you have any in the store. Just very dissatisfied with my interaction here today! Will not be going back. Only gave one star because I had to. Would have given 0.

I witnessed an employee in fabrics screaming making a scene at a customer over a bathroom key. It turned me right off. The woman getting screamed at looked confused. After that scene I will not go back. This kind of behavior should be brought to the attention of corporate. I don’t know if the lady getting screamed at already took care of it on her own, but I’m here to say that I witnessed it, and it looked BAD and was not warranted. And FYI sometimes in a business whether it be a store, a restaurant, or wherever, for another customer to witness that kind of behavior from an employee - that’s all it takes. Anyone who has an attitude and lashed out at someone like that should not be working in the store.

Good craft supplies. They always seem to be a little under-staffed. Expect to wait a bit if you have questions or are in line to purchase things. The personnel, themselves, are always kind and helpful.

Went here yesterday and the floor help was perfect, very kind employees willing to help you find what you need. On the other end, the register was packed with only one cashier. I understand it was busy, and I’ve worked retail 3+ years under high volume dozens of times(worse than what she was dealing with), and in my working experience, that was no way to treat paying customers. Myself and the people I was with were treated very poorly. She was an elderly woman who had a bitter attitude and was very rude towards us. I have only gone here a handful of times, as this Joanns is much larger than my local store, but it is not an experience making you want to come back. The two stars are for the hard working, helpful employees on the floor. Service at the register deserved no stars. This woman needs to be talked to, because even under high volume, you need to treat the customers as you would like to be treated. You want them to leave happy so that they will come back to give your store more service, not the opposite.
