If I could leave zero stars I would this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had to do with dealing with an automobile claim. My adjuster has not reached out to me since the three weeks the claim has been going on, I’ve had to reach out to them multiple times and still didn’t not get a call back from anyone. By the time I found out my claim amount came in it was already past four days, And I only found out because I kept calling. When I asked why they stated my adjuster has been out a whole week and nobody was following up on her cases nor did she have an away message on her voicemail. Then when I asked to speak with a supervisor I was met with a very dismissive and rude attitude even though they were the one not communicating being unresponsive and causing me to spend hundreds of dollars in Uber‘s because they would not get back to me. This is a small company and you can tell they do not operate at the level of a well off insurance companies such as liberty mutual or Geico.

Horrible insurance company & I would never recommend to anyone. The customer service is subpar, the staff is not helpful oh, the team is not responsive for details, and they're one of the most impossible insurance agents to work with on a condo or home or anything you need. I was able to get a quotes from other companies within two days and this company couldn't get me quotes even in a week. This company is not something I will ever do business with and I wouldn't ever recommend them to anyone. Terrible all around.

I had a terrible experience with this insurance. I would not recommend it at all. First, it is very expensive. You can find a better and cheap one. I had a tree fell on my car, and after trying multiple times to contact then, they reply saying there's nothing they can do about it. A really bad customer service. I am changing to a different insurance.

I had my auto insurance through this company. They were set up with ACH auto-pay through my company's operating bank account. They simply stopped pulling payments 3 months ago and then cancelled my policy for non-payment. There is no attempted payment withdrawal. They simply didn't perform and now won't renew. I thankfully found another insurance company at a lower rate, but if my insurance broker hadn't caught this, I'd be unaware I was driving around with no insurance. This is just not acceptable. The liability they put on me is huge not just through their incompetence in billing, but lack of communication.

A lot! Whether you have a specific coverage question or want to discuss Comprehensive Coverage in general, or any other nuanced coverage, your local, independent insurance agent is a great place to start. If you do not currently work with an agent, you can find one at https://www.ndgroup.com/agency-locator/.

Live at 34 Walter Street - Salem, MA (Northfields Condo Assoc.) We had a tree fall and is resting on another tree. Gentleman coming out to give us a price. Do we have any coverage for this in our policy? Thanks, Denise Balfe

The answer is... it depends. As with any claim, the wording of the policy matters. Coverage is often contingent upon the tree falling on a house or blocking a "way" (a walkway or driveway, for instance). There are also deductibles to be considered; the cost to remove a tree, unless there has been other related damage, may not exceed the deductible. All that said, I would recommend that you discuss the specific issue with you independent insurance agent. They are your first line of defense and have a direct line to your carrier. They educated on the policy language; they also have access to the people that would be paying the claim. There is never a reason to go into a claims situation unprotected if you place your insurance through a local, independent insurance agent. They represent you- not the company!
