Thus, IMAX is 16.29, so seniors pay 15.29. $10ish for normal films. If you're looking to save money, sign up for AMC A List. $20 a month. You get to see 3 movies per week, whether IMAX, 3d, or normal films. 12 movies a month for 20$, plus minor discounts on foods.

The difference between IMAX and reulars is the screen ratio. for IMAXthe screen ratio is 97′ wide by 76′ high and that of regular screens is 58′ wide by 28′ high. As a result of this, the picture quality and frame coverage will be at a higher standard.

IMAX theatres have a dome circular and huge plain screens that almost cover the entire theatre and makes you feel like a part of the film. Whereas normal theatres have plain and regular screen of limited pixel resolution.
