This is from a reciprocal freedom boat club owner. Everyone on dock super helpful. From the time i got to dock and when getting back the people were great. Highly recommend. Lake George is a must to go boating!!!

Matt and his crew are outstanding! They are always happy to see us and attempt to accommodate any last minute requests. The upgrades that Matt has been doing on the facility are very impressive. It demonstrates that he cares about the club members and the lake itself. Doug Katt

Freedom boat club at Lake George is as advertised. Matt and the crew there do a fantastic job. Just completed our third summer there and I have never had one issue or bad experience. The App is easy, The boats are new, well maintained and spotless every time I go out. No matter who I take out on the boats they all compliment how beautiful the boats are!! The dock service the crew provides is second to none. Matt has invested his time and Money to improve the Marina every summer which in Lake George is quite an undertaking. On one of the most beautiful lakes in the Country, The Queen boat company and Freedom Boat club is a real Gem!! Phil S.

Matt and his staff are Five Star all the way!! As a visiting member he went out of his way to make my trip to Lake George so great! His boats are beautiful and like new! His staff were all super friendly and made the process so simple! I would recommend Matt and his club to anyone I run into that lives in the Lake George area as an alternative to owning a boat! His company just makes sense! It’s worth the time to make an appointment and check out how his club works! Thank you again Matt for assisting me on my trip from Long Island!

Questions & Answers

Do I have use of all Freedom Boat Club locations or just my club?

Yes! One of the great benefits of the Freedom Boat Club is that you have access to a wide variety of clubs year round. The company has been around since 1989 and since then has opened more than 175 clubs across the US with major international expansion into Canada and Europe in 2018. Your local Lake George membership gives you unlimited use of your home club and up to 4 reservations, PER CLUB, per year.

How does the reservation system work?

Members are able to reserve boats through our online reservation system, our FBC smart phone app, or by calling or emailing the club phone. Each member is allowed up to 4 advanced reservations in the system at a time (2 can be weekends) and the rolling system means that as soon as you check back in from an outing, that reservation opens right back up. You also have unlimited spur of the moment boating - ie, if you want a boat today or tomorrow, call the dock and if there is a boat available, we reserve it for you without taking up a reservation.

What kind of boats do you have?

We buy new boats each year so our fleet is constantly growing changing. We typically have a mix of pontoons, bowriders, and deckboats, all with outboard power. All our boats are ordered brand new, with club usage in mind. Pontoons have enough power to pull tubers. Bowriders have enough space for the whole family. Comfort, versatility, and quality are hallmarks of each boat in our fleet.

Will there be boats available for me to use?

We know that availability of boats is often the number one concern of potential members. We keep a strict membership limit based on the number of boats we have in our fleet and when we hit that limit, we don't add any more members until we buy more boats. On Lake George, we keep a ratio of 8:1 members to boats, which is 20-25% fewer members than most of our Freedom Boat Clubs around the country. This is a ratio that has worked for other seasonal locations, particularly Cape Cod, for the better part of a decade and in our time in business has worked well for our members.
