We needed to bring our golden in for emergency services this week. He had swallowed "something ". We were referred by our regular vet. I knew ahead of time the range of costs. All the staff were wonderful with him and us. Very thorough. They even recognized his need to come home a bit early due to his anxiety. He is resting comfortably and on the mend. Thank you for everything!

Ended up bring there for about 4 or 5 hours, no definitive answers but no outrageous charges. The staff was super friendly and I didn't expect it to be a quick trip. They could've done more, but they would've had to sedate my cat (they were super respectful of just boundaries and did what they could without pushing him past a low growl, this has been an ongoing issue with him and not a reflection of their handling of him), and it would've been another couple hours. I didn't have the energy, and I was told I could have the imagery done by his primary vet as long as he didn't have worsening symptoms. I brought him to make sure there were no obstructions, I feel better having been there!

I have often found their staff to be dispassionate and sometimes annoyed when calling to check on my sick pet. They also tend to jump to catastrophic conclusions without knowing much about the animal. I plan to seek help elsewhere next time. I suggest you do as well if possible. Edit for SAVES: No, you did not do that. At all. Your vets also harped about putting my dog down or having a “quality of life discussion” when she was simply depressed and was done with you idiots. We got her home and she’s trotting around the house and wagging her tail. If you want to talk about it, don’t give me homework. You have my number in your records, you can call me.

It was a long night at Saves. Very busy on a Saturday night. Our pup ate some insect poison so off to the emergency vet we went. There is nothing good about a night in the emergency room. But, the professionalism and dedication by the staff at Saves was exceptional. Joe was terrific doing the triage. We were there for nearly 4 hours and some more serious cases that came later went in before us. That's the nature of triage. I don't ever want to go back. But, if I had to, I would be confident in the outcome. Our pup returned how with us that night and is doing fine.

We do not have any trained exotic specialists at SAVES. We recommend that you find an exotic specialized veterinarian in your area. The American Animal Hospital Association has a search tool for accredited veterinary hospitals. https://www.aaha.org/your-pet/hospital-locator/
Hi Mary. We are open 24-hours, 365 days a year.
Don't think so, they are an emergency vet hospital. Took our dog after being run over. They did a great job.
