Rosa was amazing! I didn’t need much altering to my bridal outfit, but she gave me incredible information about things I was clueless to—down to undergarments! I cannot put into words what a miracle worker and delight Rosa and the entire team at Touch of Design are. They’re kind, attentive, fun and incredibly skilled. I bought a sample dress to get the dress of my dreams and she basically had to refit most of it as it was a size too large. She not only make it fit like a dream, she was able to do some custom fun alterations that made it fit even better than it should have and make it a one of a kind piece. If you’re a bride looking to get her dress done, regardless of how big the job is, TRUST NO ONE ELSE. You won’t be sorry and you may just find yourself a friend for life! Rosa has now fitted a few more of my dresses for other events and I always look forward to seeing her even if it’s a half hour drive to her! She is the best, no question!!! My whole experience with Touch of Design was amazing! They worked to make my dress fit perfectly and were great about discussing the entire process with me. They also took part of my moms dress and added it to my train which came out beautiful and was such a nice touch on my wedding day! Highly recommend!

We schedule appointments 30 minutes for regular alterations and an hour for brides.
Yes, we do tailor children's christening, and first communion gowns.
No, an appointment is not needed to come in and look at or try on dresses.

The usual turn around time for alterations is two weeks depending on the work that needs to be done.
Yes we do, depending on what needs to be done and if we have available seamstresses. But we would prefer that customers make appointments so we can properly take care of you.

It's best to get your wedding dress at least a year to 6 months in advance. For alterations the latest you should come in is three months prior to your wedding.
