My husband and I love going to Midstate. The staff are all friendly and professional. The RSO’s are extremely helpful and knowledgeable when you are in the range. Thank you for providing us with a safe space and for all the tips you gave us today while we were visiting. We appreciate all of you guys.

I went there for the first time this morning. Very very nice people. I took the range test and only got one question wrong, stupid me! Since the only range I had previously been to was the Manchester Firing Line in New Hampshire, where my brother lives, I am VERY happy to have found Midstate. I plan on returning several times a month.

I always have great experience here. I will recommend this place for beginners, the stuff are professional and respectful, they always looking forward to help you with everything that you need. Also, they have good deals on guns and I just purchased S&W 😎

Yes and Yes. To cite our specific requirements on the ammo, "NO STEEL CORE, STEEL JACKETED, ARMOR PIERCING, TRACER, OR INCENDIARY BULLETS ALLOWED, (IF A MAGNET STICKS TO THE BULLET HEAD OF YOUR AMMUNITION, IT WILL BE REJECTED FOR RANGE USE). NO RELOADS/HAND LOADS. NO MUZZLE-LOADED FIREARMS. SHOTGUN IS LIMITED TO 00 BUCKSHOT AND SLUGS. Re-manufactured Ammunition from a Licensed and Insured manufacturer is allowed, provided it is in its ORIGINAL packaging."
Please call the store in the morning there were several safety protocols in place far too much to list
They have full line accessories for firearms. Not sure about selling magazines.
We buy and consign, which is usually the best deal for you if you can wait for a buyer.
I believe it is legal to own. However, most, if not all indoor ranges including Mid State DO NOT allow use of green tip ammo.
We do not, but we do recommend RI Gun Works. Jay Lund takes great care of all our rental inventory. Call 401-828-1000
Absolutely, we are a family store. We even have crayons and coloring books if the little ones get bored.

Definitely take the class. It is worth learning different techniques and safety tips. The instructors are very nice and very informative, you will not regret it
Must be 13 years old.
No every range has their own safety course for liability reasons
I believe they are 9.99
Taking the class will essentially guide you through the entire process as well as going over the laws and giving a ton of useful information. Everyone there is super friendly and Steve, the range attorney, is very helpful and knowledgeable.
(401) 615-0669, same as on the site.
No we are not.
We don't stock them, but we can definitely order them for you.
Unfortunately we don't, but we are able to offer it occasionally for holidays like Veterans Day.
According to Midstate Gun Range Rules on their website rule#44 the minimum age to use the range is 13 years. Minors under the age of 15 rifle and shot-gun only. A minor over the age of 15 will be allowed to fire handguns and the RSO not the parent/guardian shall serve as the coach
